What exactly does the multiplier change?
How quickly rock gives way. Power Driller scales your drilling speed in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, so at a high multiplier the terrain barely slows you down and at 1x you're back to the pace the game shipped with. Everything the drilling produces is unchanged — a vein still yields what it always yielded, objectives still count the same, and biomes still generate normally. You're only shortening the part where you're stationary and vulnerable with nothing interesting happening.
Does Power Driller help with objectives, or only ordinary terrain?
Both. In Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor a lot of what you drill is the objective, so Power Driller pays off hardest on the runs where you're racing a timer or a swarm to get something dug out. Terrain, veins, and objective drilling all move at the multiplier you set. What it won't do is change what those objectives require or what they reward — you reach them faster, you don't skip them. Drop to 1x and objective pacing is vanilla again.
Can I set Power Driller back to normal without uninstalling it?
Yes — set the multiplier to 1x and you're drilling at stock Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor speed, no restart required. That makes it easy to run it situationally: crank it for a biome you've cleared a dozen times, drop it back for a deep dive you want at the pace the game shipped with. The setting is yours to move mid-session as often as you like, and nothing else about the run shifts when you do.
What pairs well with Power Driller?
Loot Magnet is the obvious one.
