</>Common questions about Second Wind
What does Second Wind do in Farm Together 2?
Second Wind keeps your farming energy full in Farm Together 2 so you never have to stop and wait for it to come back. Flip on the Endless Effort toggle and the meter stays topped off while you work — water every plot, harvest every crop, plant a whole new field, and clear out trees in one unbroken run. Energy is Farm Together 2's soft brake on how much you can do in a session; when it empties, you either stand around while it refills or spend something to top it up. Second Wind takes that brake off. Your farm, your pace, for as long as you want to play. Second Wind is one of the Farm Together 2 mods in the ProjectMods desktop app.
Which farm jobs does the energy meter actually cover?
Everything that normally costs energy in Farm Together 2 — which is most of what you actually do out in the fields. Watering plots, harvesting ripe crops, planting new ones, and clearing out trees all draw on the same meter, and with Endless Effort on, none of them drain it. That matters most on the jobs you do in bulk. Watering forty plots or clearing a stand of trees is exactly the kind of task that empties the meter halfway through and leaves you standing around. Second Wind means the size of the job stops mattering — you finish what you started, then start the next thing, without the meter deciding when your session ends.
Do I still need energy boosts with Endless Effort on?
You don't need them, and that's most of the point. Normally a big job in Farm Together 2 means either pacing yourself around the energy meter or spending something to refill it, so the boosts you were saving get burned on a routine watering run. With Endless Effort on, the meter stays full on its own, so anything you'd normally use to top it up just sits in your inventory instead. Nothing is removed from the game; boosts still exist and still work if you use them. They're simply redundant while Second Wind is on. Flip the toggle off and the energy meter behaves exactly as it always did, boosts and all.
Can I tune how much energy Second Wind gives me?
Endless Effort is a straight on/off toggle — there's no number to tune, and that's deliberate. Energy in Farm Together 2 isn't something most players want more of; it's something they want to stop thinking about. A slider that set your energy to, say, double would just mean you hit the wall later instead of never, which solves nothing. So Second Wind does the one thing that actually helps: on means the meter stays full, off means Farm Together 2 handles energy exactly as it normally would. You can flip it mid-session, so if you want the meter back for a stretch of ordinary play, switch it off and carry on.
When is Second Wind most worth having on?
Big farms are where Second Wind earns its keep. Once you've expanded a few times in Farm Together 2, a full pass over your plots is dozens of individual actions, and the energy meter runs out well before the field does. Second Wind means one pass is one pass. It pairs neatly with the other Farm Together 2 mods that clear out downtime: Fast Feet gets you between the far plots quicker, Green Thumb means the crops are ready when you arrive, and Time Warp speeds the whole thing up. Endless Effort is the piece that makes sure you can actually keep working once you get there.
