How do I install Belt-Fed Forever (Infinite Ammo)?
Download the free ProjectMods desktop app, then install Belt-Fed Forever (Infinite Ammo) for Bomber Crew in one click.
</>What does Belt-Fed Forever (Infinite Ammo) do?
The most dangerous moment in any Bomber Crew fight is the gunner climbing out of the turret to fetch another belt. Belt-Fed Forever deletes that moment. Infinite Ammo keeps every turret fed, so belts never run out and the guns never go quiet. Infinite Missiles does the same for the rocket racks from the Secret Weapons expansion, reloading them the moment one leaves the rail. Your ammo-feed upgrades still work, your gunners still need to aim, and the fighters still shoot back. You just never hear the dreaded click.
</>What is Belt-Fed Forever (Infinite Ammo)?
Belt-Fed Forever keeps every turret in Bomber Crew fed with endless ammunition and reloads the Secret Weapons missile racks the moment a rocket leaves the rail. Your gunners stay on their guns through the whole dogfight instead of jogging for belts, and aiming and enemy fire stay exactly as they were. It is a free-tier mod from ProjectMods, the community-first PC mod manager for 400+ games.
</>Common questions about Belt-Fed Forever (Infinite Ammo)
What does Belt-Fed Forever do in Bomber Crew?
Belt-Fed Forever gives every gun turret on your bomber in Bomber Crew endless ammunition, so the belts never run out and the guns never fall silent in the middle of a dogfight. Normally a gunner has to climb out of the turret and jog to the ammo box when a belt runs dry, which is exactly when a Messerschmitt rolls in on your tail. With the mod on, that trip never happens. A second option, Infinite Missiles, does the same job for the rocket racks from the Secret Weapons expansion, reloading them the moment a missile leaves the rail. Your gunners still have to aim and enemy fighters still shoot back; you simply never hear the click of an empty gun.
Does Infinite Missiles work with the Secret Weapons rocket racks?
Yes. Infinite Missiles in Belt-Fed Forever is built specifically for the missile launchers that the Secret Weapons expansion adds to Bomber Crew. The moment a missile leaves the rail, a fresh one is sitting there ready to fire, so you can keep launching for the entire engagement instead of saving two rockets for the ace you know is coming. It respects whichever launcher upgrade you fitted at the airbase, so a better rack still fires better missiles. Infinite Ammo and Infinite Missiles are separate switches, which means you can run endless belts on the turrets while keeping missiles scarce, or the other way round, depending on how much of the challenge you want to keep.
Do my ammo-feed upgrades and special ammo still matter with infinite ammo?
They do. Belt-Fed Forever removes the need to fetch belts in Bomber Crew, but it does not touch how your guns actually shoot. The ammo-feed upgrades you bought at the airbase still work, so a turret with a bigger feed behaves the way it always has, and the special ammunition skills your gunners unlock still fire the rounds you picked. Aiming, tagging and turret traverse speed all work exactly like the normal game. What changes is only the part where a belt runs out and the gunner abandons the turret for twenty seconds. If you want the guns to hit harder as well as fire forever, stack it with Paper Planes, the ProjectMods gunner damage mod.
Can I keep infinite ammo on the turrets but leave the missiles limited?
Yes, Belt-Fed Forever splits the two into separate switches in Bomber Crew. Infinite Ammo handles every gun turret on the aircraft: nose, dorsal, ventral, tail, the lot. Infinite Missiles handles only the rocket racks from the Secret Weapons expansion. Flip one, both or neither in the ProjectMods launcher whenever you like. A popular middle ground is endless belts with limited missiles, which keeps the turrets busy all fight long while the rockets stay a once-per-engagement decision you have to think about. Turning a switch back off returns that weapon to counting belts or missiles the normal way, so you can dial the challenge up or down between sorties.
Why would I use Belt-Fed Forever instead of just buying bigger ammo boxes?
Because the dangerous moment in a Bomber Crew fight is not running low, it is the gunner leaving the turret. Bigger ammo boxes at the airbase delay that moment; Belt-Fed Forever deletes it. With the mod on, your gunners stay at their stations for the entire engagement, which means the tail gun is still firing when the third fighter of a wave comes in, and your engineer is not stuck fetching belts for someone else while the hydraulics burn. It is a favourite for long missions with several fighter waves, for Secret Weapons sorties where the missile racks are the difference, and for anyone who would rather spend the fight tagging targets than managing belts.

System Requirements
What features does Belt-Fed Forever (Infinite Ammo) include?
- Keeps every gun turret fed with endless belts under Infinite Ammo, so the guns never go quiet mid-dogfight
- Reloads the Secret Weapons missile racks the instant a rocket leaves the rail with Infinite Missiles
- Stops gunners climbing out of the turret to fetch belts at the exact moment your tail is most exposed
- Leaves your ammo-feed upgrades, gunner aim and enemy fire exactly as they were, so the fight still bites
- Splits ammo and missiles into two separate switches, so you can keep rockets scarce while the turrets run forever
Best For
- Players tired of watching the tail gunner jog for a belt right as three fighters roll in from behind
- Secret Weapons owners who want to actually use the missile racks instead of saving them for one desperate volley
- Crews running Cool Heads for endless focus fire who need the belts to keep up with the trigger finger
- Streamers who want every dogfight to be wall-to-wall tracer fire rather than a tense wait at the ammo box
- New players still learning the crew micro who'd rather not juggle ammo runs on top of everything else
