</>What does Reveal Map & Teleport do?
Fog covers most of the Dragonwilds map until you have walked every corner of it, and a lodestone trip means getting back to a lodestone first, then paying Law Runes that climb with distance and the weight in your pack. Reveal Map & Teleport removes both chores. Reveal Whole Map uncovers all 31 regions, from Brynmoor and Ghornfell to Fellhollow, Dowdun Reach and Umbral Sands, and adds the 24 spots the map keeps secret until you stumble on them. They appear one by one over a few seconds. Free Teleports holds the world's Teleportation Cost Scale at 0, the value Creative worlds use. Teleport to Next Lodestone sends you to each lodestone your world knows in turn, built or found, from anywhere. Teleport to Waypoint drops you on solid ground at the waypoint you set on your map. Both buttons go through the game's own teleport, loading screen included, and keep its rules: no trip during Imaru's gaze, and an Anima Orb or Scarab Staff in your hands is left behind. Switching Free Teleports off brings the normal rune price back on your next trip. A revealed map stays revealed, because your character keeps it. All of it runs in solo worlds and worlds you host; a friend's world follows its host's rules, so there the buttons do nothing.
</>What is Reveal Map & Teleport?
Reveal Map & Teleport leans on systems the game already has. Reveal Whole Map triggers the same reveal that exploring does, so the result is kept like normal progress. Teleport to Next Lodestone and Teleport to Waypoint use the lodestone teleport and its loading screen, and Free Teleports applies the cost setting a Custom world offers, held in memory only. It never edits items, skills or files, and it is meant for solo worlds and worlds you host.
</>Common questions about Reveal Map & Teleport
What does Reveal Map & Teleport do in RuneScape: Dragonwilds?
It gives you the whole map and fast travel from anywhere. One button uncovers every region and the hidden map icons, two buttons teleport you to a lodestone or to your waypoint without walking to a lodestone first, and a switch removes the Law Rune cost of the game's own lodestone travel while it is on.
Is the revealed map permanent?
Yes. Reveal Whole Map uses the game's own reveal for each region and each hidden icon, so your character keeps the result in that world exactly like ground you explored on foot. Switching the mod off or removing it does not bring the fog back. Each player has their own map, so a friend in your world still sees only what they uncovered themselves.
How much does a lodestone trip normally cost, and what does Free Teleports change?
A trip normally costs at least 1 Law Rune, rising with the distance between the two lodestones and the weight you carry, and the world's Teleportation Cost Scale multiplies the total. Free Teleports keeps that scale at 0, the value a Creative world already uses, so the price drops to nothing. The setting lives in memory only: your world's saved options never change, and switching off restores the usual price on the next trip. The two teleport buttons never charge runes in any case.
What if my waypoint is somewhere the ground hasn't loaded yet?
The mod waits for it. It looks straight down from high above the waypoint for the first solid surface and puts you on it. When that area is still streaming in after the loading screen, you are held in place with no fall building up for up to 20 seconds, and if nothing solid appears in that time you are teleported back to where you pressed the button. Roofs and treetops count as solid, so a waypoint on a building can land you on top of it.
Why does a teleport button sometimes refuse?
Because the buttons follow the game's own rules for lodestone travel. While Imaru's gaze is on you, while you are dead or while another teleport is still under way, the button does nothing and its reply tells you which rule stopped it. Like the game's teleporters, a trip also makes you drop an Anima Orb or Scarab Staff you are holding, so it stays where you stood.
Can I use it in a friend's world or with friends in mine?
In your own solo world and in a world you host, everything works. When you join someone else's world, their game controls the map, teleports and rune cost, so every button replies that only the host can do it and Free Teleports does nothing. Jagex only allows mods in single-player play or with players who agree, so in a hosted world tell your friends first. Free Teleports also stops your friends being charged, although their own map still checks they carry the runes before letting them start a trip.
What options does Reveal Map & Teleport include?
Teleport to Waypoint
Takes you to the waypoint you set on your map and puts you on the ground there. Refused during Imaru's gaze.
Free Teleports
Lodestone travel costs no Law Runes in a world you host. Off restores the normal cost on your next trip.
Teleport to Next Lodestone
Takes you to the next lodestone in the world from wherever you stand, through the game's own teleport. Refused during Imaru's gaze.
Reveal Whole Map
Uncovers all 31 map regions and the 24 places the map hides until found. Your character keeps the revealed map.
Reveal Map & Teleport is a ProjectMods mod for RuneScape: Dragonwilds that lifts the fog off all 31 map regions, sends you to any lodestone or your map waypoint from anywhere, and can stop lodestone travel from costing Law Runes.
System Requirements
What features does Reveal Map & Teleport include?
- Reveal Whole Map lifts the fog from all 31 regions and adds 19 kebbit burrows and 5 agility courses that normally stay off the map until you find them.
- Free Teleports drops the rune price of every lodestone trip to zero while it is on, however far you go and however heavy your pack is.
- Teleport to Next Lodestone works from any spot and steps through every lodestone your world has on record, the ones players built included, telling you which number it picked and how far away it is.
- Teleport to Waypoint reads the waypoint on your map, teleports you with a loading screen and sets you down on the highest solid surface under it, with no fall damage.
- If nothing solid turns up under a waypoint within 20 seconds of arriving, the mod returns you to the spot where you pressed the button.
Best For
- Your bags are full on the far side of Fellhollow and home is a long walk away, so press Teleport to Next Lodestone until it lands you at the lodestone by your base and unload right there.
- Law Runes are scarce early on and every trip eats them, so switch on Free Teleports and hop between your bases as often as you like.
- You just started a fresh character in a world you know well, so press Reveal Whole Map once and plan your route with every region and kebbit burrow already showing.
- An anima vent sits on the map two regions away, so set a waypoint on it, press Teleport to Waypoint and you are standing beside it when the loading screen ends.
