</>What does Bird's Eye (Fly & No-Clip) do?
Bird's Eye lets you fly. Switch on Take Flight and gravity lets go: steer with your movement keys, hold Jump to rise, Crouch to sink and Sprint to go faster. You fly toward wherever you're looking. Nothing blocks you while you fly. Glide through walls and roofs to reach a spot, scout a region from above, or get out of somewhere you're stuck. Dive too far below the city, though, and the game puts you back on the street, as it always does. Flight Speed sets how fast you go, from 1 (about a jog) to 10 (very fast), and Sprint triples it. Switch Take Flight off and you drop back to the ground from wherever you are. Driving, climbing ladders and skateboarding work as normal, and flight picks up again when you step off. Give Take Flight a hotkey in the ProjectMods app to switch it on and off without leaving the game. In co-op, each player flies with their own switch.
</>What is Bird's Eye (Fly & No-Clip)?
See Schedule I's Hyland Point from the sky. Switch on Take Flight and Bird's Eye lets you fly wherever you look, straight through walls and roofs, from a jog up to about 40 metres a second. Driving, ladders and skateboards pause it, and switching off drops you where you are. Dive far below the city and the game puts you back on the street, as it always does. </>Common questions about Bird's Eye (Fly & No-Clip)
What does Bird's Eye do in Schedule I?
Bird's Eye lets you fly in Schedule I and pass straight through walls, roofs and floors, no-clip style. Switch on Take Flight in the ProjectMods app and you float right where you are: steer with your usual movement keys, hold Jump to rise, hold Crouch to sink and hold Sprint to go three times faster. You fly toward wherever you're looking, and Flight Speed sets your pace from 1 to 10. Switch Take Flight off and you drop back down from wherever you are. Bird's Eye installs in one click from ProjectMods, the community-first PC mod manager and desktop app, and works once your save is loaded.
How do you steer while flying with Bird's Eye in Schedule I?
You steer Bird's Eye from ProjectMods with the same controls you use to walk around Schedule I. Your movement keys, however you've bound them in the game, move you forward, back and sideways, and forward always takes you wherever the camera is pointing, so look up to climb and look down to dive. Hold Jump to rise, hold Crouch to sink and hold Sprint to fly three times faster. While your phone or another menu is open, or while you're typing, you hover in place instead of drifting off, so you can use your phone mid-air and carry on when you're done.
Does Bird's Eye keep flying while you drive, skateboard or climb a ladder in Schedule I?
No, flight pauses for those and then picks back up on its own. In Schedule I, driving a vehicle, climbing a ladder, riding a skateboard or being knocked down all pause Bird's Eye, so driving, climbing and skateboarding work exactly as normal. Once you step out, step off or get back up, you're flying again without touching the switch in the ProjectMods app. One limit comes from the game itself: dive about 20 metres below the city and Schedule I puts you back on the street, as it always does. In co-op, each player flies with their own switch, and the rest of the crew sees them in the air.
How fast can you fly with Bird's Eye in Schedule I?
Bird's Eye tops out at about 40 metres a second in Schedule I, or around 120 with Sprint held. Its Flight Speed setting in the ProjectMods app runs from 1 to 10 and starts at 3. At 1 you move at roughly a jogging pace, which makes it easy to line up a spot on a roof or slip through a wall into exactly the room you want. Each step up adds the same amount of speed, so 10 is very fast and great for crossing Hyland Point in a hurry. Sprint triples whatever you've set, so you can cruise at a steady pace and still burst ahead when you need to.
What happens when you switch off Bird's Eye's Take Flight mid-air in Schedule I?
You drop straight back down from wherever you are. Switching off Take Flight in Bird's Eye returns you to normal Schedule I movement on the spot, so if you're hovering high above a street, you fall from there. A good habit is to hold Crouch and sink close to the ground first, then switch flight off. Give Take Flight a key in the ProjectMods app and you can toggle it without leaving the game, which makes it quick to pop up for a look over a region, reach a roof, or get out of a spot where you're stuck.
