Use it when a beacon was hidden, a signal is difficult to locate, or you want a complete overview before planning an expedition. The result covers loaded lifepod, vehicle, base, beacon, and story-related pings that exist in the current save. Hide All Beacons and Signals provides the opposite action when the HUD becomes crowded. You can switch between a complete navigation view and a clean exploration display whenever needed.
