</>What does Flood The Island do?
Flood The Island keeps things simple: it raises the game's actual map water, not a fake overlay. That means the flood uses the same water you already swim in, boats already float on, and Liquid Makeover can recolour into lava, blood, toxic waste, or whatever nightmare you want. Hit Start Flood and the sea level climbs across the island. Low areas go under first, then streets, then buildings. Hills and rooftops become your only escape routes — fast enough to feel urgent, slow enough that a good climb can still save you. Tune rise speed and max height to make survival runs easier or brutal. Drain The Island when you are done, or flip on Continuous Flood to let the tide keep climbing until you stop it. Great for rooftop survival challenges, co-op panic runs, and pairing with other disaster mods once you have turned the ocean into molten lava.
</>What is Flood The Island?
Flood The Island is a Wobbly Life disaster mod that raises the real in-game water level across the map. Hosts can start a flood, tune rise speed and max height, drain the water afterward, and sync the tide in multiplayer. Because it uses the game's native water, it works with Liquid Makeover for lava floods and other custom water styles.
</>Common questions about Flood The Island
Does this use the real game water?
Yes. It raises the existing Water objects on the map, so swimming, splashes, and visuals stay native to Wobbly Life.
Can I use this with Liquid Makeover?
Yes. Recolour the water first or after starting the flood to turn the rising tide into lava or other styles.
Can players still survive?
Yes. Default settings rise slowly enough that reaching hills and rooftops is possible, but you need to move quickly.
Who controls the flood?
Only the session host can start, drain, or stop the flood.
What options does Flood The Island include?
Max Flood Height
How many metres above normal sea level the water can rise.
Drain Speed
How quickly the island drains when you end the flood.
Continuous Flood
Keeps the flood running until you turn this off or hit Stop Flood.
Rise Speed
How fast the water climbs in metres per second. Lower is easier to outrun.
Stop Flood
Pause the flood at the current water height without draining or resetting.
Flood Preset
Water style and hazard behaviour. Lava and Blood kill instantly on contact. Acid kills after a short soak. Toxic kills after longer exposure.
Start Flood
Begin raising the island water level, or resume a paused flood.
Drain The Island
Lower the water back to sea level and reset the island. If already at default sea level, drains below the island until there is no water left.
Flood The Island raises the game's built-in map water level so the island slowly floods and players must escape to higher ground.
