</>What does Cool Heads (No Cooldowns) do?
Bomber Crew's skills are what make the crew feel like a team: the pilot's corkscrew and emergency dive, the gunners' focus fire and special ammo, the engineer's engine boosts, the radio operator's Spitfire call. They all come with long cooldowns. Cool Heads does away with the waiting. No Cooldowns means every skill and every manoeuvre recharges the instant it ends, so you can corkscrew out of attack after attack and keep the gunners on focus fire for the whole engagement. Endless Skill Duration keeps the timed skills running for as long as the fight lasts. It's deliberately limited to the safe ones, so a dive still ends before you hit the ground and the gunners still reload. Stack it with Belt-Fed Forever and your turret crew becomes a wall of lead.

</>Common questions about Cool Heads (No Cooldowns)
What does Cool Heads do in Bomber Crew?
Cool Heads removes the cooldown timers on every crew skill and pilot manoeuvre in Bomber Crew, so each ability is ready again the moment it finishes. The pilot can corkscrew out of one attack and immediately corkscrew out of the next, the gunners can call focus fire over and over, the engineer can keep the engine boost coming, and the radio operator can whistle up the Spitfires whenever the sky gets crowded. A second switch, Endless Skill Duration, keeps the timed skills running for as long as the fight lasts instead of fading after a few seconds. It is a free-tier mod from ProjectMods, the community-first PC mod manager, and it pairs beautifully with Belt-Fed Forever.
Which skills does Endless Skill Duration keep running, and which does it leave alone?
Endless Skill Duration in Cool Heads keeps the safe, timed skills in Bomber Crew going for the length of the engagement: the gunners' focus fire and special ammunition, the engineer's engine boosts, and the radio operator's auto-tag. It deliberately leaves the manoeuvres that have to end alone. The pilot's emergency dive still pulls out before you hit the ground and a corkscrew still levels off, because a dive that never stops is not a skill, it is a crash. Gunners also still reload between bursts as normal. The result is a crew that fights at full intensity for the whole scrap without anything silly happening to the aircraft.
Can I use No Cooldowns without Endless Skill Duration?
Yes, the two switches in Cool Heads are independent in Bomber Crew. No Cooldowns on its own means every skill and manoeuvre recharges instantly, but each use still lasts its normal few seconds, so you are firing off short bursts of focus fire or repeated corkscrews rather than holding one forever. Endless Skill Duration on its own keeps an activated skill running for the whole fight, but once it finally ends you wait the normal cooldown before the next one. Running both together gives you the full no-waiting experience. A good place to start is No Cooldowns on its own, because it keeps the rhythm of clicking skills while removing the frustration of watching a timer while three fighters roll in.
Does Cool Heads affect the enemy fighters or the Spitfires too?
No. Cool Heads only touches the abilities of your own crew in Bomber Crew. Enemy fighters, aces and flak batteries behave exactly as they normally do, with the same aggression, the same damage and the same attack patterns. The friendly Spitfires your radio operator calls in still fly and fight the way they always do; what changes is that the radio operator can call them again straight away instead of waiting for the skill to recharge. So the mod makes your crew feel like a well-drilled team that always has an answer ready, but it does not make the enemy any weaker. If you want that side of the balance shifted too, Paper Planes handles gunner damage.
Why does Cool Heads pair well with Belt-Fed Forever?
Because between them they remove the two things that stop a Bomber Crew gunner from shooting: an empty belt and a cooling focus-fire timer. Cool Heads keeps focus fire and special ammo available every second of the fight, and Belt-Fed Forever makes sure there is always a belt in the gun to use them with. Together, your turret crew becomes a wall of lead that tracks every tagged fighter for the entire engagement. The pilot side of Cool Heads adds the other half: an endless supply of corkscrews and emergency dives means you can throw the aircraft around while the gunners keep firing. Add Eagle Eyes for automatic tagging and the whole fight almost runs itself.

System Requirements
What features does Cool Heads (No Cooldowns) include?
- Recharges every crew skill and pilot manoeuvre the instant it finishes with No Cooldowns, so corkscrews and dives are always ready
- Keeps focus fire, special ammo, engine boosts and the radio operator's auto-tag running for the whole fight with Endless Skill Duration
- Lets you call in Spitfires, boost the engines and corkscrew out of attack after attack without watching a timer
- Leaves the risky skills alone on purpose, so an emergency dive still ends before you hit the ground
- Runs instant recharge and endless duration as two separate switches, so you can take one without the other
Best For
- Pilots who want to corkscrew out of every single fighter pass instead of rationing one dodge per wave
- Players stacking it with Belt-Fed Forever so focus fire and the belts both last an entire engagement
- Anyone who keeps losing crew while staring at a greyed-out skill button, waiting for the cooldown to tick over
- Streamers who want nonstop manoeuvres and Spitfire calls on screen rather than quiet stretches of waiting
- New players who want to learn what every skill actually does by using them back to back in a live fight
