</>What does Cellar Legs (Speed & Jump) do?
Most of Cellar Keeper is walking: pile to cabinet, cabinet to pile, again and again. The sorting is the good bit. Cellar Legs makes the walk in between shorter. Switch on Faster Feet and Speed Percent sets how fast you walk and run, from 100 (the game's own pace) up to 400, starting at 180. Jump Percent does the same for jump height, from 100 to 300, starting at 150. Leave either one at 100 if you only want the other. Switch Faster Feet off, mid-stride if you like, and you're back to exactly what the game and your skill levels give you.
</>What is Cellar Legs (Speed & Jump)?
A run in Cellar Keeper means hundreds of trips on foot between the bottle piles and the cabinets. Cellar Legs shortens them: switch on Faster Feet, then set Speed Percent from 100 to 400 for walking and running, and Jump Percent from 100 to 300 for jumps. It multiplies the movement the game already gives you, upgrades included, and keeps Speedrun and Hardcore runs that use it off the online leaderboards.
</>Common questions about Cellar Legs (Speed & Jump)
What does Cellar Legs do in Cellar Keeper?
It gets you around the cellar faster. You walk and run quicker and jump higher, and that's all it changes: bottles, racks, skills and your save are left alone. Handy when the cellar is big and the bottle you need is always at the far end.
Do my sprint and jump upgrades still count?
Yes. Cellar Legs multiplies the speed and jump height the game has already worked out, so 200% of an upgraded sprint is twice the upgraded sprint. In Speedrun, where upgrades are off and everyone moves at the same fixed ranked speeds, those fixed speeds are what get multiplied.
Can a high jump cost me a Hardcore run?
It can. Hardcore checks every landing: drop about two metres with bottles in your hands and they're thrown out of your grip, where they can break and end the run, and coming down on a loose bottle from 40 centimetres or more fails the run by itself. A boosted jump is a drop like any other, so the higher Jump Percent goes, the riskier an ordinary hop gets. House Rules' Unbreakable Bottles pauses those Hardcore checks if you want the height without the risk.
Why is my run still off the leaderboard after I switched Faster Feet off?
Because the mark belongs to the run, not the switch. As soon as Faster Feet changes your movement in a Speedrun or Hardcore run, that run is marked and its finish time won't be sent, and switching off later doesn't undo it. Starting a fresh run with the boost off clears it. Faster Feet on with both values at 100 changes nothing, so it marks nothing.
I switched it on in the main menu. Why does nothing feel different?
Because there's nothing to move yet. Your walking and jumping only exist once a cellar is loaded, which is why the launcher adds "It kicks in once you're playing a cellar." when you switch on from the menu. Load your save and the new speed is there from your first step.
What options does Cellar Legs (Speed & Jump) include?
Faster Feet
Uses Speed Percent and Jump Percent while on. Switch off for normal movement.
Speed Percent
Walking and running speed: 100 is normal, 200 is twice as fast.
Jump Percent
Jump height: 100 is normal, 200 jumps twice as high.
Cellar Legs is a ProjectMods mod for Cellar Keeper that makes you walk and run up to four times faster and jump up to three times as high, with speed and jump height set separately.
System Requirements
What features does Cellar Legs (Speed & Jump) include?
- Walking and running share Speed Percent, so your run keeps the same lead over your walk at any setting.
- The game checks your speed every frame, so a new Speed Percent kicks in on your next step.
- It changes how high you jump, not how often. The short wait between jumps is still the game's own.
Best For
- Your arms are full and that grape's cabinet is at the opposite end of the cellar. Speed Percent at 250 turns the round trip into a quick jog.
- There's one jump you keep missing by a hair. Jump Percent at 130 clears it without turning every hop into a moon jump.
- You carry 100 at a time with Bigger Arms and want the trips to keep up. Speed Percent at 300 gets each big load to its cabinet fast.
- You're learning a Speedrun route and want to see the whole cellar quickly. Run it with Speed Percent at 200 first, then make your real attempts with Faster Feet off.
