</>What does Free Crafting do?
Free Crafting removes ingredient costs from unlocked Chop Chop Inc. recipes. Craft buttons remain available when materials are missing, and completing a recipe does not remove wood, metal, components, or other ingredients from your inventories. Use it to test production layouts, recover after spending scarce materials, or focus on furniture design and factory progression instead of repeated gathering. The crafted item, recipe output, and normal completion events still come from the game's regular crafting process. The toggle applies to ordinary crafting stations, furniture assembly recipes, crafting minigames, and automated crafters that you deliberately configure. Passive inventory-triggered crafters keep their normal ingredient checks so a single inventory change cannot unexpectedly produce every available recipe. Turn off Free Crafting at any time to restore standard recipe requirements and material consumption. Free Crafting does not unlock recipes and does not replace Free Building. Pair it with Recipe Shop Unlocker for locked recipes or Free Building for houses, halls, foundations, and other construction projects.
