What's the level cap for Core Keeper skills in Prodigy?
100 is the cap for every skill, and Prodigy's Level setting accepts anything up to it. That means you can push Mining to 100 while deliberately leaving Melee somewhere mid-range if you want a character who's brilliant at one thing and ordinary at the rest. Max Out Every Skill takes all twelve straight to 100 in one press when you don't want to pick. Either way, the levels behave like Core Keeper levels you earned.
Can I set one skill without touching the others?
Yes. The Skill dropdown chooses which of Core Keeper's twelve you're changing, the Level box sets the number, and Set Selected Skill applies it to that one only. Everything else stays exactly where it was. It's the setting to use when you're trying a Magic or Summoning build and want that one skill ready without flattening the progression you've genuinely earned elsewhere on the character.
What does Reset Every Skill do?
It puts all twelve Core Keeper skills back to level 0. That's there for when you'd rather roll a character back and earn the levels properly, or when you used Prodigy to test a build and now want to play the world straight. It's a deliberate, separate button from Max Out Every Skill so the two can't be confused. Between the two you can move a character's skills in either direction whenever you want.
Why would I set skills instead of levelling them normally?
Mostly for the second character onwards. Prodigy is great for starting a new Core Keeper world with friends who are further along, so you're not the one holding the group back for a week. It's also the quickest way to try a Magic or Summoning build without spending days getting it off the ground, and it pairs naturally with Loot Goblin if you want gear that matches the skills you just set.
