</>What does Rock Solid (Nothing Hurts) do?
Core Keeper is generous right up until a boss corners you three biomes from your bed. Rock Solid takes the sting out of the whole cavern: turn it on and incoming damage simply stops mattering, whether it's a slime you walked into, a floor of spikes you didn't see, or Ghorm doing a lap at full speed. It's the mod for the stretch of a run where you just want to make progress. Push into a biome you have no business being in, dig a tunnel straight through a hostile nest, or stand still and actually read what a boss does before you fight it properly. There's a Top Up Health button too, for when you'd rather stay mortal and just undo one bad room. Turn the switch off and the danger comes straight back.

</>Common questions about Rock Solid (Nothing Hurts)
What does Rock Solid do in Core Keeper?
Rock Solid stops incoming damage landing in Core Keeper. Turn it on and it doesn't matter whether it's a slime you walked into, a floor of spikes you didn't see, or Ghorm doing a lap at full speed — none of it takes your health. It's the mod for the stretch of a run where you just want to make progress, and the danger comes straight back the moment you switch it off.
What is the Top Up Health button for?
Top Up Health refills your health bar right now without turning the master switch on. That's for when you'd rather stay mortal in Core Keeper and just undo one bad room — you took a beating you didn't deserve, you fix it, and you carry on with the fight still being a real fight. Rock Solid keeps it as a separate button precisely so you can use it without committing to full immunity for the rest of the session.
Can I turn Rock Solid off mid-fight?
Yes. Nothing Hurts is a live switch, so you can flip Rock Solid off in the middle of a Core Keeper boss fight and damage starts landing again immediately. That's a good way to use it: switch it on to stand still and read what a boss actually does, then switch it off and fight the thing properly now you know the pattern. Nothing about your character or world is permanently altered either way.
Does Rock Solid work against boss damage in Core Keeper?
It's aimed at incoming damage generally, which includes the titans. That means you can push into a biome you have no business being in, dig a tunnel straight through a hostile nest, or stand in front of a boss and watch its attacks properly rather than dying to the third one. If you also want the status effects — poison, burning, stun, charm — switched off, Hazmat Suit is the mod that covers that side.
Why would I use Rock Solid instead of just playing carefully?
Because Core Keeper stays friendly right up until you're three biomes deep and something corners you a long way from your bed. Rock Solid is for the part of a run where dying costs you an hour of walking rather than teaching you anything — pushing ahead of your gear, tunnelling through something hostile, or learning a fight before committing to it. Flip it off when you want the tension back, and use Top Up Health if you only need one bad room undone.
What options does Rock Solid (Nothing Hurts) include?
Nothing Hurts
Master switch. While it's on, damage stops landing. Turn it off to go back to normal.
Top Up Health
Refill your health bar right now, without turning the master switch on.
Rock Solid is a Core Keeper mod from ProjectMods that stops incoming damage landing, so slimes, spike floors and boss fights stop being able to end your run.
