Gang Beasts stages are full of places you can see and never reach — the tops of buildings, the inside of the machinery, the far side of the water. Ghost Walker takes you there. Switch on flight and your fighter leaves the floor. W, A, S and D drift you around, Space or E lifts you, Ctrl or Q drops you, and Shift gives you a burst of speed. Two separate dials control your normal and boosted pace so you can either creep carefully around a set piece or cross the whole map in a second. Phasing is its own switch. Leave it on and scenery stops mattering entirely — drift through walls, floors and hazards to see how the stage is actually put together. Turn it off and you fly but still bump into things, which is the better setting for lining up a shot. This is the sightseeing and screenshot mod. Pair it with Slow-Mo Mayhem to hover over a fight and film the whole thing. Heads up: your fighter is a floppy ragdoll, so flight looks exactly as undignified as you would hope.

What does Ghost Walker do in Gang Beasts?
Ghost Walker lets your Gang Beasts fighter fly, and optionally drift straight through the scenery. Beef City is full of places you can see and never reach, like the tops of buildings, the insides of machinery and the far side of the water, and this is the mod that takes you there. Switch flight on and your fighter leaves the floor under your control, with separate speeds for drifting and boosting. Phasing is its own switch, so you can either ignore walls entirely or keep bumping into them. It is the sightseeing and screenshot mod, and your ragdoll looks exactly as undignified in the air as you would hope.
How do you control flight in Ghost Walker?
The controls are deliberately plain. With flight switched on in Gang Beasts, W, A, S and D drift you around, Space or E lifts you, Ctrl or Q drops you, and holding Shift gives you a burst of extra pace. Because up and down have two keys each, it suits whichever hand position you already use. Everything is done from the keyboard, so you can steer with one hand and line up a screenshot with the other. Turn flight off and your fighter drops back to the floor and carries on as a normal, wobbling Beef City brawler.
Can I fly in Gang Beasts without passing through walls?
Yes, and it is often the better setting. Ghost Walker keeps phasing on a separate switch from flight, so you can fly around Gang Beasts while still bumping into scenery. That version is the one to use when you want to hover over a fight and line up a clean shot, because solid floors and railings give you something to rest against instead of drifting off through them. Leave phasing on instead and nothing in Beef City stops you at all, which is how you get inside the machinery or under a stage to see how it is actually put together.
Can I change how fast Ghost Walker flies?
There are two separate dials, which is what makes it usable rather than a novelty. Fly Speed sets your normal drifting pace, and Shift Speed sets how fast you go while the boost key is held. Keep the first one low and you can creep around a Gang Beasts set piece a few inches at a time for a screenshot, then hold Shift and cross the entire stage in about a second when you are bored of that view. Tuning them separately means you never have to choose between careful framing and getting somewhere quickly.
What is the Diagnose button in Ghost Walker for?
It is there for the one bad day. If flight is not responding in Gang Beasts, pressing Diagnose writes a short report into your ProjectMods folder showing whether the mod can currently see your fighter at all, which is usually the answer to why nothing is happening. Fully loading into a match first and pressing it then gives the most useful report, since a fighter who does not exist yet cannot be flown. It turns a vague "it is not working" into something specific, and it costs you nothing to press if you are curious.
