That covers orbs dropped by enemies and the Spirit Light containers found around the world. Other rewards, such as quest rewards, stay at their normal amounts. It's the option for players who still want to earn their Spirit Light through exploring and fighting, just faster. Switch Bigger Pickups off and orbs go back to their normal value at once.
How much Spirit Light can Lightcatcher give at once?
Spirit Light Amount goes from 1 all the way to 1,000,000 per press, with a default of 1,000. Pick a modest number to cover one purchase, or a huge one so you never have to think about prices in Ori and the Will of the Wisps again. You can press Give Spirit Light as often as you like, and Reset Spirit Light takes Ori's total back to zero whenever you want a fresh start. Spirit Light added by Lightcatcher is saved with your game and spends exactly like Spirit Light you earned.
Does Lightcatcher make shops cheaper or add Gorlek Ore?
No. Lightcatcher only adds and multiplies Spirit Light in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Prices at Lupo, Twillen and Opher stay the same; if you'd rather pay less than have more, Merchant's Favor is the ProjectMods mod that cuts shop prices. Gorlek Ore, which pays for Grom's building projects, isn't Spirit Light and isn't touched either; Gorlek Haul handles that along with Keystones. Pair Lightcatcher with either one, depending on whether your bottleneck is currency, prices or building materials.
What can I spend Lightcatcher's Spirit Light on?
Spirit Light from Lightcatcher spends exactly like Spirit Light you collect in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Buy area maps from Lupo, Spirit Shards and shard upgrades from Twillen, and skills and weapon upgrades from Opher. With a healthy balance you can try new builds, upgrade your favourite Spirit Shards and skills, and fill in the map without grinding first. If you want to keep some challenge, use Bigger Pickups instead of Give Spirit Light, so every fight and every corner of Niwen still pays out, just several times over.
