</>What does Wisp Form (Fly & Pass Through Walls) do?
Wisp Form turns Ori into a free-floating spirit. Switch on Become A Wisp and gravity lets go: steer with your usual movement controls (up, down, left and right) and Ori glides straight through walls, floors and ceilings. Set Flight Speed anywhere from a gentle drift to a fast dash across the map. It's ideal for exploring every corner, reaching a missed collectible, or getting unstuck. Switch it off to land right where you are. If Ori is inside a wall at that moment, you're returned to the last open spot, and the game doesn't save a checkpoint while you fly, so a save never lands inside the scenery. One heads-up: enemies and hazards can still hurt Ori mid-flight. Pair Wisp Form with Unbreakable Light if you'd rather explore without a scratch.

</>Common questions about Wisp Form (Fly & Pass Through Walls)
What does Wisp Form do in Ori and the Will of the Wisps?
Wisp Form is a ProjectMods mod for Ori and the Will of the Wisps that lets Ori fly. Switch on Become A Wisp and gravity lets go, so you can steer Ori in any direction, including straight up and down, using your normal movement controls on keyboard or controller. Ori passes straight through walls, floors and ceilings, and Flight Speed sets how fast Ori travels. Switch it off to land right where Ori is; if Ori is inside a wall at that moment, Ori is moved back to the last open spot.
What happens if I switch off Wisp Form while Ori is inside a wall?
Ori is moved back to the last open spot you flew through. Wisp Form normally lands Ori right where Ori is when you switch Become A Wisp off, but if Ori is inside solid ground at that moment, Ori is placed back in the last open space along your flight path instead. On top of that, Ori and the Will of the Wisps doesn't make automatic checkpoints while you're flying, so progress is never saved with Ori inside a wall. Together, those two rules keep Ori from getting stuck in the scenery.
Can enemies hurt Ori while Wisp Form is on?
Yes. Wisp Form handles movement, not protection, so enemies and hazards in Ori and the Will of the Wisps can still hurt Ori while flying. Passing through a wall doesn't make Ori safe from whatever is waiting on the other side. If you want to explore with no risk at all, pair Wisp Form with Unbreakable Light, the ProjectMods mod that stops every source of damage. Together they turn Niwen into an open sky: fly anywhere, pass through anything, and never worry about a hit along the way.
How fast can Ori fly with Wisp Form?
In Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Wisp Form's Flight Speed runs from 1 to 10 and starts at 4. At 1 Ori drifts gently, which is ideal for precise positioning or lining up a screenshot; at 10 Ori zips across Niwen, perfect for covering long distances. You can change Flight Speed from the launcher's mod panel while you fly, so it's easy to race across an area and then slow down to look around. Flight also holds perfectly still while the game is paused, so Ori won't drift anywhere while you step away.
Can I use Spirit Wells or fly during cutscenes with Wisp Form?
Not while Wisp Form has Ori flying. The game's own teleport between Spirit Wells needs Ori on the ground, so switch Become A Wisp off and land before using fast travel in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Flying during cutscenes isn't possible either, and you can't fly past the edge of the world. Everywhere else is fair game: reach a missed collectible, check what's behind a wall, or get unstuck from an awkward spot. Once Ori is back on solid ground, Wayfarer's Wells pairs nicely: it lets you teleport to a Spirit Well from wherever you are, with no walk back to one first.
