</>What does Coin Flood do?
Otherworld Legends' in-run shops are the fun part and the stingy part at the same time. Coin Flood lets you set an amount, press Give Coins once a run is going, and watch the purse counter jump straight away. Shopkeepers take them like any other coin, so every price in the room is suddenly affordable. The real draw isn't one more health potion. It's finally seeing what the relic pool does when you get to stack five of them instead of the one or two a normal run pays for. The weapon upgrade you always walk past, the relic you keep saving up for and never quite reaching - take all of it and find out what the build actually becomes. One thing to know before you press it, because it looks broken otherwise: coins belong to the run. Start a run first, spend what you take before that run ends, and don't be surprised when leftovers vanish with it - only coins you put in the game's bank carry over to the next one. Coin Flood is on the free tier, so it's there the moment you install it, and Soul Harvest covers the between-run side of the economy if you want the hub sorted too.
</>What is Coin Flood?
Coin Flood ends the moment where a build-defining relic sits four coins out of reach. Start a run, set an amount, press Give Coins, and the shopkeeper takes them. Coins belong to the run you are in, so spend them before it ends - whatever is left in your purse is gone when the run is, and only banked coins carry over. On the ProjectMods free tier.
</>Common questions about Coin Flood
What does Coin Flood do in Otherworld Legends?
Coin Flood adds coins to your purse during an Otherworld Legends run - the currency the in-run relic and weapon shops take. Set an amount with the Coins option, press Give Coins, and the counter updates straight away. Shopkeepers accept them, so every price in the room becomes affordable. The real use is finding out what the relic pool can actually do together, because the stock economy rarely lets you buy more than a couple per run. You need to be in a run before you press Give Coins - coins live inside the run, not on your profile.
What happens to my Coin Flood coins when the run ends?
They go with the run. Coins in Otherworld Legends belong to the run you are in, so anything still sitting unspent in your purse when the run finishes is gone - that is how the game works, not something Coin Flood changes. The only coins that follow you home are the ones you deposit in the game's bank before you leave. So treat a Coin Flood top-up as spending money for the floor you are standing on: buy the relics, buy the weapon upgrades, empty the shop, and bank whatever you genuinely want to keep. Miss that and the mod looks broken when it is doing exactly what it says.
Do the in-run shops actually accept coins from Coin Flood?
Yes. The coins Coin Flood adds are ordinary Otherworld Legends run coins, so the relic seller, the weapon shop and every other in-run vendor take them exactly as they would coins you picked up off the floor. Your counter updates the moment you press Give Coins, and the price you see is the price you pay. There is no separate currency and nothing marked differently. That is the point of the mod: buy the whole shelf in one visit and find out which relics actually combo, instead of picking one and wondering about the two you left behind.
How many coins can Coin Flood give me at once?
As many as you set. Coin Flood's Coins option is the amount that lands in your purse each time you press Give Coins, and you can press it more than once in the same run if you want more. A single press tops out at 999,999, which is far past anything a floor of shops will cost, so pick a number that covers the shop in front of you rather than one that covers the whole run - unspent coins do not survive the run anyway. A modest top-up before a shop room is usually more useful than one enormous press at the start of an Otherworld Legends floor.
How does Coin Flood pair with Soul Harvest?
They cover the two halves of the Otherworld Legends economy and never overlap. Coin Flood handles coins, which are in-run money spent on relics and weapons and lost the moment the run ends. Soul Harvest handles Soul Stones, the between-run currency you spend in the hub on talent trees and hero upgrades, which stay on your profile permanently. Run them together and neither side of the game is gating you: build the hero you want in the hub with Soul Stones, then afford whatever the floor puts in front of you with coins. The usual order is Soul Harvest between runs, Coin Flood once the run is going.
