</>What does Full Till (Instant Cash) do?

Money is the thing that decides which appliances you can afford, and a bad day can leave you scraping by with a kitchen that cannot keep up. Full Till puts that decision back in your hands. Pick an amount, press the button, and it lands in your restaurant's takings straight away - the counter on screen updates as you watch. There is a reset button too, if you fancy starting from nothing and earning it all back the hard way. Handy when you want to try an expensive kitchen layout without grinding fifteen days for it first.

</>Common questions about Full Till (Instant Cash)

What does Full Till (Instant Cash) do in PlateUp!?

Full Till tops up your PlateUp! restaurant's money whenever you like, by however much you like. Pick an amount, press Give Money, and it lands in the takings straight away - the counter on screen updates as you watch. Every appliance you want is gated behind what is in the till, so a run that starts badly tends to stay bad; this hands that decision back to you instead. There is a reset button as well, for setting your money to zero if you fancy earning it all back the hard way. Nothing else about the run changes.

What does the Reset Money button do?

It sets your PlateUp! restaurant's money to zero in one press. That sounds like an odd thing to want on a mod that gives you cash, but it is the from-scratch challenge button: build a kitchen with Full Till, then wipe the till and see whether the restaurant you have assembled can actually pay for itself. It is also the quick way to undo an over-enthusiastic top-up if you decided the run was more interesting when money was tight. The reset only touches money - appliances, day, customers and everything else carry on exactly as they were.

How is Full Till different from Blank Cheque?

Full Till adds money to your PlateUp! takings; Blank Cheque makes shop items cost nothing. That is the whole distinction, and it matters more than it looks. With Full Till the number on screen goes up and you spend it normally, so your restaurant's earnings no longer reflect what it actually made. With Blank Cheque your money never moves and nothing is charged. If you want a big number in the till, for the feeling of it or to see how far a huge budget goes, Full Till is the one. Run both if you want a full till and a shop full of zeroes.

How much money can I add at once?

As much as you like - the Amount value is yours to set, and pressing Give Money adds exactly that to your PlateUp! restaurant's takings. Leave the Amount where it is and press again to stack another top-up on top. Small amounts are genuinely useful, by the way: nudging in just enough to afford the one appliance you are short of keeps a run tense in a way that a huge lump sum does not. The Current Money readout in the panel shows where your takings stand, so you can top up to a target rather than guessing and overshooting.

Does Full Till add money if I join someone else's PlateUp! game?

No. In PlateUp! the host's game is the one actually running the restaurant, so the till belongs to whoever started the session. Full Till takes effect in single-player and when you are hosting the lobby; if you join a friend's restaurant, the money is theirs and your copy of the mod cannot add to it. Host the session yourself and the top-up lands in the shared restaurant, so everyone playing with you benefits from it. Worth knowing before your first co-op night, and it is the same limitation across our PlateUp! mods that touch money, customers, fires or the day.
