Do the speed and grip options work if I join someone else's PlateUp! game?
Not reliably, no. PlateUp! runs the restaurant on the host's machine, so movement and floor conditions are decided there. Line Cook Legs takes effect in single-player and when you are hosting the lobby. If you join a friend's restaurant, their game is in charge and your chef will move at the pace it gives you. Host the session yourself and the kitchen you are running behaves the way you have dialled it in.
