</>What does Damage & Enemies do?
Raids on your base, hunting parties on the road and a dragon general circling overhead make a quiet building session hard to come by. Damage & Enemies lets you decide how much of that you want. Player Damage Percent (50 to 1000, starts at 100) scales every melee, ranged and magic hit you land, and One-Hit Kills drops almost any creature with a single blow. Enemy Health Percent and Enemy Damage Percent (10 to 500, both start at 100) scale your world's own creature settings for all twelve creature groups, from Critter to Boss. Peaceful Mode flips the switch Creative worlds use, so most creatures stop picking players as targets; a few, General Velgar among them, ignore that switch. World Events Off cancels base raids, hunting parties and General Velgar's flyovers and meteor strikes. The Kill Nearby Enemies button defeats every hostile creature within 50 metres except bosses, which stay yours to beat. Switching an option off hands its value back to your world straight away. World Events Off is the exception: the game plans events when a world loads, so it changes things at the next load in either direction.
</>What is Damage & Enemies?
Damage & Enemies covers both sides of a fight in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Player Damage Percent and One-Hit Kills change what your hits do. Enemy Health Percent and Enemy Damage Percent move your world's creature sliders for every creature group. Peaceful Mode and World Events Off call off most creatures and the raids, and Kill Nearby Enemies clears an area on demand. It never edits your save, and in a world someone else hosts it does nothing.
</>Common questions about Damage & Enemies
What does Damage & Enemies do in RuneScape: Dragonwilds?
It changes how fights go: how hard you hit, how tough and dangerous creatures are, whether they come after you at all, and whether raids and dragon flyovers happen. Every option stands alone, so you can keep normal combat and only switch world events off.
Why don't creatures that are already around get weaker when I lower Enemy Health Percent?
The game sets a creature's health once, when it spawns, so creatures already standing keep the health they arrived with and only new spawns use your value. Enemy Damage Percent is different: the game checks it every time a creature attacks, so it applies from the next hit. Kill Nearby Enemies is the quick way to clear the old ones.
Does it work in a friend's world, and does it change things for friends in mine?
It works in solo worlds and worlds you host; in someone else's world the host's game decides and the mod does nothing. In a world you host, the creature options, Peaceful Mode and World Events Off set your world's own settings, so they apply to everyone playing in it. Agree on them with your friends first. Player Damage Percent and One-Hit Kills only change your own hits, and that includes hits on friends if your world has friendly fire on.
What happens to my XP, levels and save?
The mod itself writes nothing to your save, and every option hands your world's own values back when you switch it off. Combat XP comes from the health your hits take off a creature, so One-Hit Kills and Player Damage Percent don't change what a creature is worth; you just get through creatures faster. Enemy Health Percent does: a creature spawned at 200 carries twice the health and gives twice the Attack, Ranged or Magic XP. That XP and any levels stay, and reaching level 99 unlocks the matching Steam achievement, such as Melee Master for Attack. Creatures defeated by Kill Nearby Enemies give no combat XP.
Why did a raid still turn up after I switched on World Events Off?
The game plans world events when your world loads, so the switch takes effect at the next load. Switch it on, then reload your world. Turning it back off works the same way: raids, hunting parties and Velgar's flyovers return the next time the world loads.
What options does Damage & Enemies include?
One-Hit Kills
Your hits land with enough force to drop almost any creature in one blow.
Enemy Health Percent
Health of creatures that spawn from now on, as a percent of your world's own value. Creatures already standing keep theirs.
Kill Nearby Enemies
Defeats every hostile creature within 50 metres of you at once. Bosses, your followers and training dummies are spared.
Player Damage Percent
Damage you deal with melee, ranged and magic attacks, as a percent of normal. 100 is the game's own damage.
World Events Off
No base raids, hunting parties or Velgar flyovers. Your world plans events when it loads, so switch this on before loading in, or reload the world.
Enemy Damage Percent
Damage creatures deal, as a percent of your world's own value. Takes effect on their next attack.
Peaceful Mode
Most creatures stop treating players as targets, the way they behave in a Creative world. A few, such as General Velgar, still fight.
Damage & Enemies is a ProjectMods mod for RuneScape: Dragonwilds that scales your damage, sets creature health and damage, makes most creatures ignore you and turns off raids and dragon flyovers in solo or hosted worlds.
System Requirements
What features does Damage & Enemies include?
- Player Damage Percent raises or lowers the all combat styles damage multiplier the game applies to every melee, ranged and magic hit, from about half damage up to about ten times as much.
- Enemy Health Percent and Enemy Damage Percent scale the Health Scale and Damage Scale sliders of all twelve creature groups a Custom world lists, so a Hard world's doubled creatures go back to normal at 50.
- Peaceful Mode turns on the game's own Disable Aggressive AI switch, which Creative worlds ship with, so most creatures stop treating players as targets.
- World Events Off sets the Major and Minor World Event Frequency Scale settings to zero, the values Creative worlds use.
- Kill Nearby Enemies leaves your followers, creatures fighting on your side under Confuse, training dummies, bosses and any passive animal that isn't fighting untouched.
Best For
- Raids keep flattening your half-built walls, so switch on World Events Off, reload the world and finish the build in peace.
- A Hard world's creatures take forever to whittle down, so set Enemy Health Percent to 50 and new spawns arrive with Normal health.
- You want to explore Fellhollow for screenshots without a fight every few steps, so turn on Peaceful Mode and walk straight through.
- A swarm of Kalphite has you pinned at a cave mouth, so press Kill Nearby Enemies and clear the 50 metre circle around you.
