</>What does God Mode do?
A bad fall, a poison cloud or one boss swing too many, and Dragonwilds sends you back to a gravestone to collect your gear. God Mode takes all of that off the table for your own character: you take no damage, you can't die, your health is topped up four times a second, landings never hurt and status effects can't build up. Want only part of it? No Fall Damage covers just the landings. Status Effect Immunity stops poison, cold, chill, burning, bleeding, Soulscourge, shock, scorch and wither from building up, and cures any already on you within a quarter of a second. Keep Inventory On Death means dying leaves no gravestone behind, for you or anyone else in your world. Heal Now fills your health and cures everything once. Switch any of them off and the game's own rules come straight back. None of it is written to your save.
</>What is God Mode?
Dragonwilds punishes mistakes with gravestone runs. This mod makes your character invulnerable and immortal, keeps health full, turns off fall damage and blocks status build-up. Keep Inventory On Death borrows the Custom-world Retain Inventory On Death rule for any world you host, even one made from a preset. Nothing is saved, and in someone else's world the mod does nothing.
</>Common questions about God Mode
What does God Mode do in RuneScape: Dragonwilds?
It makes your own character untouchable. The main switch stops all incoming damage, prevents death, keeps your health bar full, removes fall damage and blocks harmful status effects. Two smaller switches give you just one piece of that, and Keep Inventory On Death protects your items if you ever do die. A Heal Now button refills health and cures you once.
Which status effects does Status Effect Immunity block?
Poison, Cold, Chilled, Burning, Bleeding, Soulscourge, Shock, Scorch and Wither. For all but Chilled the mod raises your build-up resistance to 100%, the same stat that some potions and gear raise a little, so the bar simply never fills. Chilled has no resistance stat, so it is cleared the moment it appears. Helpful effects such as Well Rested, Cosiness and anima charge are never touched, and slows from enemy attacks are left as they are. Turn the switch off and your resistances go back to whatever your gear and potions give you at that moment.
Does Keep Inventory On Death protect my friends too?
Yes. It switches on the world rule that Custom worlds call Retain Inventory On Death, and a world rule covers every player who dies in it, so anyone who falls in your world keeps their items and no gravestone appears. It also works on worlds made from a preset, where that rule can't normally be changed. If your Custom world allows zero gravestones, the mod raises that to one while the switch is on, because the game only checks the keep-inventory rule when a gravestone is allowed.
Can I use it in multiplayer?
Only in worlds you control: solo worlds, and worlds you host for friends who are happy with it. God Mode, No Fall Damage and Status Effect Immunity apply to your character alone. In a world someone else hosts, their game decides who gets hurt, so the mod holds nothing there and Heal Now says it needs a world you host. Jagex's community rules are fine with single-player changes but ask that mods aren't used to get ahead in shared play.
What happens when I switch God Mode off?
You become mortal again on the next frame, and fall damage and status build-up return with it. Health you were healed and anything you picked up stay with you, and nothing the mod did is written to your character or world save, so the next session starts from the game's own rules.
What options does God Mode include?
Keep Inventory On Death
Turns on the world's Retain Inventory On Death rule: anyone who dies in your world keeps their items instead of leaving a gravestone.
Status Effect Immunity
Only the status part of God Mode: poison, cold, chill, burning, bleeding, Soulscourge, shock, scorch and wither can't build up, and any already on you are cured.
God Mode
You take no damage and can't die, your health is kept full, falls don't hurt and status effects can't build up.
No Fall Damage
Only the fall part of God Mode: landing from any height costs no health.
Heal Now
Fills your health and cures harmful status effects once.
God Mode is a ProjectMods mod for RuneScape: Dragonwilds that makes your character take no damage and never die, with separate switches for fall damage, status effects and keeping your inventory on death.
System Requirements
What features does God Mode include?
- God Mode makes your character invulnerable and immortal the way the game does it internally, so hits, burns and poison ticks do nothing.
- Health is refilled four times a second while God Mode is on, which covers drains that never pass through combat damage.
- No Fall Damage marks you immune to landings and zeroes the fall damage multiplier, without the rest of God Mode.
- Status Effect Immunity puts your build-up resistance at 100% for eight harmful effects, clears Chilled the moment it appears, and cures anything already running.
- Keep Inventory On Death holds the world's item-keeping rule on for everyone, and allows at least one gravestone so the game actually checks that rule.
Best For
- Scouting a high-level area before your gear is ready, so switch on God Mode and map it out without a single death.
- Hunting for cliff shortcuts across Ashenfall, so switch on No Fall Damage and every drop is free while enemies still hit as hard as usual.
- Fighting creatures that poison or set you alight, so switch on Status Effect Immunity and the bars never fill while the fight stays fair.
- Hosting friends who keep losing their gear, so switch on Keep Inventory On Death and nobody in your world drops their items when they fall.
