</>What does Free Crafting do?
Free Crafting removes ingredient requirements from Subnautica's fabricator crafting process. Any recipe already available in the crafting menu can be produced without carrying or consuming its normal materials. Use it to replace lost equipment, prepare supplies for a long expedition, test tools and upgrades, or spend more time building and exploring instead of repeating resource runs. The normal recipe menus and crafting animations remain familiar. The effect can be toggled at any time. Turning it off restores normal ingredient checks and resource consumption for future crafts. The mod does not automatically unlock recipes or blueprints.
