</>What does Grand Tour do?
The campus map normally unlocks one location at a time, each one waiting on stars earned at the last. Grand Tour opens the whole map at once. That means you can go straight to the campus that looks most interesting, revisit a favourite without working back through the ones before it, or hop between locations as the mood takes you. If you have played through before and just want to enjoy a specific campus again, this saves you the entire run up. It is a toggle, so the normal unlock order is always one click away if you decide you want the structured route after all.
</>What is Grand Tour?
The Two Point Campus world map normally hands you one location at a time, each waiting on stars earned at the last. Grand Tour opens the lot. Go straight to the campus that looks most interesting, revisit a favourite without replaying the run-up, or flip the switch back for the structured route. </>Common questions about Grand Tour
What does Grand Tour do in Two Point Campus?
Grand Tour opens every campus location on the Two Point Campus world map at once. Normally the map unlocks one location at a time, with each new campus waiting on stars earned at the previous one, so the order of the campaign is fixed for you. Grand Tour removes that gate for as long as it is switched on. Every location becomes playable immediately, which means you can start at whichever campus looks most interesting rather than working toward it. It is a toggle, not a permanent change, so flip it off and the map goes straight back to the normal unlock order.
Do I still need stars to move between campuses with Grand Tour on?
No. Stars are what normally decide which Two Point Campus location opens next, and Grand Tour makes that requirement irrelevant while it is enabled, because every campus is simply available. You can still earn stars perfectly normally, and they still count toward the campuses you actually play; they just stop acting as a lock on the map. That is the difference between Grand Tour and Star Pupil, our other Two Point Campus mod: Star Pupil awards the three stars for the campus you are on, while Grand Tour bypasses the requirement altogether. The two work happily side by side if you want one for progress and one for access.
What happens to the world map when I turn Grand Tour off?
It returns to the normal progression order. Grand Tour is an on/off switch rather than a one-way door, so switching it off in Two Point Campus puts the star-gated unlock sequence back the way the game intended. Anything you legitimately unlocked while it was on stays unlocked, because that is your actual progress; the locations you had not earned simply go back to being locked. That makes Grand Tour useful even for players who like the campaign structure. Open the map for one evening to try a campus you were curious about, then close it again and carry on with the intended route.
What does the Open Every Campus toggle actually control?
It is the mod's single switch, and it controls whether the Two Point Campus map is fully open or running on the normal unlock order. There is nothing else to configure: no per-campus list, no percentage, no amount to type. Turn it on and every location on the map becomes selectable. Turn it off and the game's own progression takes over again. Keeping it to one switch is deliberate, because you either want the map open or you do not, and a slider would just get in the way. If you want it on for a whole playthrough, leave it on; if you want it for one session, flip it twice.
Why would I want every Two Point Campus location open at once?
The big one is a replay. If you have already finished the campaign, working back through the early campuses just to reach the one you actually want to build on is a long detour, and Grand Tour removes it entirely. It also suits players who buy the game for a specific campus, the space one, the spooky one, the one with the layout they saw in a video, and want to start there. And on a first playthrough it turns the map into something you browse rather than something you grind, which is a very different pace of Two Point Campus.
