How does the 2x to 50x slider scale, and what's the right value to start at?
The slider is a flat multiplier applied to each of the 13 content-value attributes. At 2x your uploads pay double; at 50x they pay fifty times what the base game would award. The scaling is linear, not exponential, so 25x is genuinely half of 50x rather than some hidden curve. There's no single correct setting — 2x to 5x keeps the tycoon loop tense and the numbers readable, 10x to 20x is where most players sit when they want fast progression, and 30x to 50x is for when you've stopped caring about pacing and just want to watch the cash counter explode. Start low, push higher when the run feels slow.
Does Printing Press stack with Upload Labs' in-game content-value upgrades?
Yes. The mod sets the multiplier on the underlying attribute, so any in-game upgrades that also raise that attribute — research nodes, lab tier bonuses, employee buffs — compound on top of the slider value. If your in-game text-content upgrade is at 4x and you set Printing Press to 10x, the effective text payout is 40x base, not 10x. This is why the mod feels disproportionately strong in mid-to-late runs: you're scaling an already-scaled number. If a run feels too easy, drop the slider rather than uninstalling your upgrades, since the slider is the cleaner dial to tune.
Why pair Printing Press with Turbo Network or Crypto King?
Printing Press only matters when you're actually uploading, which is why Turbo Network is the natural pair — it speeds up the upload step itself, so the boosted payout lands in your account faster and you don't bottleneck on transfer time waiting for big content to finish. What happens to content already sitting in my upload queue when I toggle Printing Press on?
Anything mid-upload finishes at the multiplier value that was active when it started — Upload Labs locks the payout at submission, not at completion, so a file already on its way pays whatever the multiplier was at the moment you queued it. New uploads queued after you change the slider use the new value. If you want to make sure a high-value piece of content gets the bigger payout, set the slider first, then queue the upload. Toggling the mod off mid-run reverts new uploads to base game values but does not retroactively clawback anything you've already banked.
