What does Fast Travel + do in Valheim?

What do the Refresh List and Teleport buttons do?
Refresh List rescans your Valheim map for pins and rebuilds the dropdown, which you'll want to hit whenever you've added or renamed a pin since opening the mod menu. Teleport reads whichever pin is currently selected in the dropdown and instantly moves your Viking there. Both controls live in the mod's panel, so the flow is: open menu, hit Refresh if you've placed new pins recently, pick the destination from the dropdown, click Teleport. Pin icons, custom names, and colors all carry over, so a green checkmark for "iron stash" and a red skull for "boss arena" look exactly like they do on your normal map view.
Can I teleport while carrying ore, metal, or other portal-restricted items?
Yes. Fast Travel + in Valheim is a direct teleport, not a portal, so the vanilla "no metals through portals" rule does not apply. Carry a full stack of iron back from the Swamp, silver from the Mountains, black metal from the Plains, or a Queen's fragment from the Mistlands, and one click drops you back at base inventory intact. If you want metals to pass through actual portals on top of that, pair Fast Travel + with Portal Pardon in the ProjectMods launcher — together they cover both teleport methods. The dropdown also doesn't care whether the pin is in an unexplored biome, so you can warp into freshly tagged territory.
Does Fast Travel + cost stamina, materials, or anything else?
No. Fast Travel + has zero cost in Valheim. There's no stamina drain, no Eikthyr-style ability cooldown, no consumed item like a teleport scroll, and no fee to pay Haldor. Pick a pin and click Teleport — your Viking is there. The mod also doesn't touch your skills, food buffs, equipped gear, or current health and stamina values, so you arrive at the destination in exactly the same state you left. If a Deathsquito ambushes you in the Plains and you teleport to your base, you'll still be one mosquito-hit away from death when you land — bandage up before traveling somewhere safer.
Why would I use Fast Travel + over Valheim's portal network?
Portals in Valheim are great until you realize you need a portal pair for every destination, each pair costs Fine Wood, Greydwarf Eyes, and Surtling Cores, and you can't carry metals through them anyway. Fast Travel + bypasses all of that — any pin on your map is automatically a destination, with no portal to build and no metal restriction. It's especially good for returning players coming back to a half-finished map, content creators staging cuts between distant biomes without on-camera sailing, and anyone who died in the Mistlands and refuses to make that hike again. Compared to Raft, Subnautica, or Green Hell, where fast travel is either nonexistent or grindy, this brings Valheim closer to a modern survival sandbox.
