</>What does Phantom Fortress (Ghost Drive) do?
Half of a Wanderburg run is steering around things: cliffs that funnel you into ambushes, rivers that drag your speed down, walls you have to shoulder through, blockers parked in your path. Phantom Fortress switches all of it off. Flip Ghost Drive on and your castle glides through solid ground and enemy bodies alike, water stops slowing you down, and units can no longer box you in. The important bit still works: your harvester keeps devouring villages, flocks and anything else it touches, and coins still fly to you. Only the collisions that stop you are gone. Switch it off and every blocker is solid again, right where it was. One honest note: the arena edge is a wall too, so you can drive past it while Ghost Drive is on. Turn it off and roll back into the fight.

</>Common questions about Phantom Fortress (Ghost Drive)
What does Phantom Fortress do in Wanderburg?
Phantom Fortress lets your Wanderburg castle ignore everything that normally stops it. Flip Ghost Drive on and your fortress glides through cliffs, walls, rocks and the bodies of enemy units, water and mud stop dragging your speed down, and units can no longer stand in front of you to box you in. The important parts keep working: your harvester still devours villages, flocks and anything else it touches, and coins still fly to your castle. Only the collisions that block you are gone. Switch Ghost Drive off and every wall, river and blocker is solid again, exactly where it was.
Does my harvester still eat things while Ghost Drive is on?
Yes. Phantom Fortress is careful to remove only the collisions that stop your Wanderburg castle, not the ones that feed it. The harvester at the front of your vehicle still catches villages, chicken flocks, wandering units and anything else it normally consumes, and the coin magnet still pulls loot in as you pass. What changes is that enemies you would previously have shouldered into now pass straight through your hull, terrain you would have bounced off is just scenery, and the water and mud slowdown never applies. In effect you can drive a straight line through a whole village, eating as you go.
Can I drive off the edge of the map with Phantom Fortress?
Yes, and it is the one thing to watch. Wanderburg's arena edge is itself a wall, and Phantom Fortress makes walls pass-through, so a castle with Ghost Drive on can roll straight past the boundary and out of the playable map. Nothing dramatic happens, but you will be outside the fight with no enemies to eat and no coins to collect. The fix is the switch: turn Ghost Drive off, everything becomes solid again, and drive back into the arena. The easy habit is to keep an eye on the edge, or pair it with Eagle Eye to zoom the camera out so the boundary is always in view.
Is there anything to configure in Phantom Fortress?
Deliberately little. Phantom Fortress has one master switch, Ghost Drive, which turns every part of the effect on or off together: pass-through terrain and walls, pass-through enemies, no water or mud slowdown, and units no longer treating your Wanderburg castle as an obstacle to path around. There are no percentages to tune because the effect is all-or-nothing by nature; a castle is either solid or it is not.
Why would I use Phantom Fortress in Wanderburg?
Because Wanderburg's terrain is designed to trap you, and Phantom Fortress refuses to be trapped. Cliffs that funnel a castle into an ambush become shortcuts, rivers that would halve your speed stop mattering, and a wall of units parked across your path is just something to drive through on your way to the next village. It shines in the later biomes, where blockers and difficult ground are everywhere. Since enemies pass straight through your hull, ram-heavy builds may prefer Ghost Drive for travel and switch it off for fights. Pair it with Greased Wheels or Bottomless Boost for a castle that goes exactly where you point it.
What options does Phantom Fortress (Ghost Drive) include?
Ghost Drive
Master switch. On: your castle passes through terrain, walls, water and enemy bodies. Off: everything is solid again.

System Requirements
What features does Phantom Fortress (Ghost Drive) include?
- Drives your castle straight through rocks, cliffs, walls and enemy bodies while Ghost Drive is on
- Ignores water and mud slowdown entirely, so rivers are just another stretch of ground
- Stops enemy units boxing you in, since they walk straight through your castle instead of crowding around it
- Keeps the harvester eating villages and flocks and the coin magnet pulling, so only the collisions that stop you are gone
- Passes through the arena edge as well, since that is a wall too; toggle off and everything is solid again where you are
- Keeps your Steam leaderboards clean: any run played with this mod active is never posted to the global or friends boards
Best For
- Players who keep getting funnelled into ambushes by cliffs and want to cut straight across the biome instead
- Village raiders lining up a perfect harvester run through a settlement without shouldering through every wall first
- Anyone who gets pinned by a ring of blockers and wants to glide out through them rather than ramming
- Boss fighters who want to reposition freely around the arena while the towers keep firing
