</>What does Stone Skin (Indestructible Castle) do?
Every run in Wanderburg ends the same way: your castle finally takes one hit too many. Stone Skin decides that it does not. With Indestructible on, your hull stops losing health entirely - artillery, rams, boss broadsides, fire, none of it lands - and the game's own invincibility glow shows you it is working. Unshakeable handles the other half of what kills you: stuns that lock your wheels, burns, slows, fear and knock-ups all bounce off, so you keep driving no matter what is thrown at you. Reinforced adds a chunk of extra maximum health on top for players who would rather stay killable but tougher, and Full Repair patches you back to maximum in one press. Built for pushing deep into Overtime, learning a boss without the restart tax, or just enjoying a run where the castle only ever gets bigger.

</>Common questions about Stone Skin (Indestructible Castle)
What does Stone Skin do in Wanderburg?
Stone Skin keeps your Wanderburg castle alive four different ways. Indestructible stops the hull losing health entirely, so artillery, rams, boss broadsides and fire all land without taking a point off, and the game's own invincibility glow shows on your castle to confirm it is working. Unshakeable makes you immune to stuns, burns, slows, fear and knock-ups and clears any of those already affecting you. Reinforced adds the Extra Max HP you choose to your maximum health for as long as it is on. Full Repair heals you to maximum in one press. Use one or all four; each switches off cleanly.
What is the difference between Indestructible and Reinforced?
Indestructible makes your Wanderburg castle unkillable; Reinforced makes it tougher but still mortal. With Indestructible on, Stone Skin keeps the castle invincible so no hit reduces its health at all, and you will see the invincibility glow the game itself uses. Reinforced instead adds the Extra Max HP value you set on top of your maximum health, stacking with any max-health artifacts you have, so the bar is longer but every hit still chips away at it. Players who want a run to stay tense usually pick Reinforced with a modest number and keep Full Repair on a keybind; players who want to explore deep Overtime without a restart pick Indestructible.
Does Unshakeable clear effects I already have, or just block new ones?
Both. Switch Unshakeable on in Stone Skin and it immediately cleanses any stun, burn, slow, fear or knock-up currently affecting your Wanderburg castle, then keeps those immunities held so nothing new can apply while the toggle stays on. That matters because the worst deaths in Wanderburg come from being locked in place: a stun that stops your wheels while three fire tanks line up, or a fear effect that drives you into a wall. With Unshakeable on, you keep driving no matter what hits you. It does not stop the damage those attacks deal, so pair it with Indestructible or Reinforced if the hits themselves are the problem.
How much Extra Max HP can Reinforced add?
Anything up to 5000 points. Extra Max HP in Stone Skin is added to your Wanderburg castle's maximum health for as long as Reinforced is on, and it stacks on top of any max-health artifacts you have already collected. A few hundred points makes an early cart forgiving; a few thousand lets a late-tier fortress absorb a boss fight. Adding capacity does not fill it, so press Full Repair after raising the number if you want the new bar topped up. Switching Reinforced off removes the extra maximum again.
Why would I use Stone Skin in Wanderburg?
Three situations come up again and again. Pushing deep into Overtime, where Wanderburg's waves eventually overwhelm any castle and Indestructible lets you see how far the silver payouts climb. Learning a boss, where Stone Skin removes the restart tax so you can study patterns until the fight makes sense, then switch it off and take the fight on unassisted. And relaxed runs, where the castle only ever gets bigger and the fun is in the building. Reinforced and Full Repair suit players who want a safety margin rather than immortality, and pairing Stone Skin with Ceasefire gives you total control over both the clock and your survival.
