</>What does Faster Robots do?
Late in a shift most of your money comes from robots, and they take their time. A J.O.O.N.A.S. inches across each section, robot vacuums trundle home to empty a small bin, and any robot out of everyone's sight works at half pace, or 70% for a J.O.O.N.A.S. Switch on Faster Robots and four numbers take over. Cleaning Speed Percent (100 to 500, default 200) is how fast they move while sweeping. Travel Speed Percent (100 to 500, default 200) covers driving between sections, with turning and acceleration scaled to match. Sweep Width Percent (100 to 300, default 150) widens the lane a Mk I or Mk II vacuum sweeps in one pass. Dust Bin Percent (100 to 1,000, default 300) makes every bin bigger. Full Speed With Nobody Near lifts the away pace to that of a robot you can watch. Search Further For Dust lets a J.O.O.N.A.S. working away from players look further for dust before it sits idle, as far as Search Range Percent says (100 to 400, default 300). Show Robot Status reports what's running. Turn a switch off and its robots go back to the game's own numbers.

Robots do most of the cleaning in a late Moon Sweepers shift, and the game keeps them modest: steady speeds, small bins and a slower pace for any robot nobody is near. This mod raises those limits with three switches, Faster Robots, Full Speed With Nobody Near and Search Further For Dust, plus four percentages. Robots still pick their own sections and routes, and only the host's world is changed.

What does Faster Robots do in Moon Sweepers?
It retunes the robots you already own: Mk I and Mk II robot vacuums working the area round their docks, and roaming J.O.O.N.A.S. robots. They still choose their own sections and routes. Docks, Capsule Catchers and belts keep the sizes and speeds the game gave them.
Why do my robot docks say they're full more often?
Your robots now bring dust home faster than a dock's belt can carry it away, and the dock's own store keeps its normal size. A robot waits at a full dock exactly as before. Faster Belts & Bigger Catchers runs the belts faster, and Bigger Belt Capsules in Bigger Capsules & Magnet sends bigger capsules down a dock's belt, so either one clears a dock sooner.
Why doesn't Sweep Width Percent change my J.O.O.N.A.S.?
Its lanes are spaced to fit its cleaning pads, which follow a fixed motion, so a wider lane would leave strips of dust between passes. It still sweeps faster with Cleaning Speed Percent and still gets the bigger bin. A J.O.O.N.A.S. fires a capsule whenever it holds one capsule's worth, so the extra room counts most when no catcher is in range.
What happens to the bigger bins when I switch Faster Robots off?
They go back to normal. A bin holding more dust than its usual size keeps every kilogram and shrinks once the robot has emptied it. If the game saves while the mod is on, the bigger size can stay in the save, but a robot still treats its bin as full at the normal amount, so nothing plays any differently.
Can my crewmates speed up the robots from their own game?
No, the host decides. Robots live in the host's world, so a host with Faster Robots on gives the whole crew fast robots. A crewmate who switches it on changes nothing and gets a short note in the HUD saying so.
How far does Search Range Percent let a J.O.O.N.A.S. look?
It multiplies the game's 40 rings of sections around the robot: 100 keeps 40, the default 300 gives 120 and 400 gives 160. The area grows with the square of the range, so 120 rings take in roughly nine times as many sections as 40. When nothing in range is free the robot rests for 30 seconds and looks again, just as the game has it do. A robot near a player already searches much further than that on its own.
What options does Faster Robots include?
Dust Bin Percent
How much dust a robot can hold. Robot vacuums go back to unload less often and empty just as fast; a J.O.O.N.A.S. keeps sweeping longer while it waits for a catcher. 100 is the game's bin.
Full Speed With Nobody Near
Robots away from every player work as fast as robots near you. The game runs them at half speed (J.O.O.N.A.S. at 70%). Host or solo shift only.
Search Further For Dust
J.O.O.N.A.S. robots working away from players look further for dusty sections before they sit idle. Off puts the search back to the game's 40 rings of sections.
Show Robot Status
Shows how many robots are near you and how fast they clean, and how many work away from players.
Cleaning Speed Percent
How fast robots move while sweeping, and how fast robots away from players finish sections. 100 is the game's speed.
Faster Robots
Robot vacuums and J.O.O.N.A.S. robots clean, travel and hold dust by the percentages below. Host or solo shift only. Off puts every robot back to its normal speed, width and bin.

System Requirements
What features does Faster Robots include?
- A J.O.O.N.A.S. gets its extra speed from its pad motion running faster, so the pads scrub in step with the body as it moves.
- A bigger bin really holds more: a robot vacuum keeps picking up dust until it is 98% full, and only then heads home.
- Robot vacuums unload at the dock faster by the same Dust Bin Percent, so a bigger bin empties in the usual time.
- When cleaning speed runs far ahead of travel speed, travel speed is raised just enough that a robot's cleaning strokes still join up into one clean strip.
- A newly bought robot, or one that comes into view, picks up your settings within a second.
Best For
- Your J.O.O.N.A.S. robots take ages over every section of a wide crater. Set Cleaning Speed Percent to 300 and the sweeping part of each section takes a third of its normal time.
- Most of your shift is spent at the base while robots work sections far away. Switch on Full Speed With Nobody Near and those vacuums finish sections twice as fast as before, a J.O.O.N.A.S. about 1.4 times as fast.
- A J.O.O.N.A.S. far from home keeps sitting idle because every section around it is done. Turn on Search Further For Dust with Search Range Percent at 400 and it looks 160 rings of sections out instead of 40.
- Your Mk II vacuums spend more time driving to the dock than cleaning. Raise Dust Bin Percent to 500 and each trip home brings back five times as much dust.
