Cleaning in Moon Sweepers means holding the mouse button down for hours, and filling a deposit tray means holding E. The game has no way to change its keys either. Toggle Sweep turns the sweep button into a switch: click once and the brush keeps sweeping, click again to stop. Vehicles whose cleaning needs the button held get the same treatment. Toggle Deposit does the same for the deposit glove: one press of the deposit key at an intake keeps the tray filling. Custom Keys switches on your own layout. Movement Keys picks what you walk with: W A S D (the game's own), the arrow keys, E S D F, I J K L or numpad 8 4 5 6. Open Key File opens %APPDATA%\projectmods\moonsweepers_keys.txt, which lists every key you can change next to the game's choice, and Reload Keys reads it again after you save. Switching Custom Keys off puts every key back the way the game had it.

Escape and every gamepad button stay exactly as they are, so you can always reach the pause menu.

What does Toggle Sweep & Key Rebinding do in Moon Sweepers?
It cuts down on holding buttons and lets you put actions on the keys you like. Everything happens in your own game, so it works the same solo, as host or as a crewmate, and the rest of the crew keeps their own keys.
How do I change a key in the key file?
Press Open Key File, find the action, delete the # at the start of its line and write the key after the = sign, for example Capsule = K. Save, make sure Custom Keys is on and press Reload Keys. Keys are written as you'd say them: letters, numbers, F1 to F12, Space, Shift, Ctrl, Alt, the arrows as Up, Down, Left and Right, Num 0 to Num 9, and Mouse Left, Mouse Right or Mouse Middle. A line the mod can't read is named in the reply.
Which keys clash with E S D F and I J K L?
With E S D F it's E and F; with I J K L it's L. E S D F walks forward on E and right on F, and those keys also collect and interact (E) and handle actions such as leaving a vehicle (F), so a single press does both. Move Interact, Action and Drive to free keys in the key file. I J K L shares L with the brush's angle lock and the vehicle lights.
How does Toggle Deposit decide when to stop?
A second press of the deposit key stops it, and so does looking away from the intake for more than half a second, opening a menu, typing in chat or getting into a vehicle. Switching to another window stops it as well, and it only starts while you're aiming at an intake.
Does Toggle Sweep work with third-person sweeping?
Yes. With FOV & Third-Person Sweeping letting the brush work from the rear view, one click starts the sweep there as well. It stops the same way as in first person, and also when you change to the front view, where the brush can't sweep.

Toggle Sweep
Click the sweep button once to start sweeping and again to stop, so you never hold it down; vehicles that need the button held work the same way. Off: hold to sweep, as normal.
Movement Keys
The keys you walk with while Custom Keys is on; a Move line in your key file takes over its direction. E S D F and I J K L share keys with other actions, so move those in the key file.
Toggle Deposit
At a deposit intake, press the deposit key (E) once and the tray keeps filling until you press it again or look away. Off: hold the key, as normal.
Reload Keys
Reads your key file again after you've saved it, and uses it while Custom Keys is on.
Open Key File
Opens your key file in a text editor; it lists every key the game uses. Remove the # in front of a line, write the key you want and save.
Custom Keys
Uses your own keys, from Movement Keys and your key file. Off: every key goes back to the game's own.
