Even from the cab of a mega vacuum rover, a Moon this size goes by slowly: a 3.7 m strip at a time, at whatever pace Tuned Motors allows, and a drive back to the garage every time the 3,000 kg tank fills. Faster Vehicles raises the top speed to Top Speed Percent, anywhere from 100 to 400 with 200 to start, and acceleration climbs with it. Better Grip keeps the vehicle you drive planted at those speeds. Wider Cleaning stretches the cleaned strip to Cleaning Width Percent, 100 to 300 and 150 by default. Bigger Hopper multiplies what a hopper holds by Hopper Capacity Percent, from 100 to 1,000 with 300 to start. Full Suction sweeps at the width of the FULL setting from Suction Control and drops the slowdown that comes with high suction. Every switch works on its own, and turning one off puts that part back the way the game had it.

What does Vehicle Speed & Width do in Moon Sweepers?
It changes how fast your vehicles drive, how much ground they clean and how much dust they carry, starting from each vehicle's own numbers. At the defaults a push sweeper's 1.35 m strip becomes about 2 m, and a lunar sweeper without Big Hopper upgrades holds 3,600 kg instead of 1,200.
What happens to the dust in a bigger hopper when I switch Bigger Hopper off?
It stays where it is. A hopper keeps its bigger size only while it holds more dust than its normal size, Big Hopper upgrades included: one still carrying 3,000 kg of a usual 1,200 counts as full until you unload, then drops back to normal within a couple of seconds. The mod watches for that for half an hour after you switch off, and again whenever a shift starts, because the larger size is written into your save while the switch is on.
Will my faster, wider vehicle work in a friend's shift?
Yes, for your own vehicle. Each player's game drives the vehicle they sit in, and the host takes the dust you deposit or unload without checking your hopper, only the room the intake or silo has left. A wider strip you clean goes to the host's world like the rest of your sweeping.
How is Full Suction different from the Suction Control upgrade?
Suction Control lets you pick a setting from ECO up to FULL, and the higher ones sweep wider but cap your speed. Full Suction needs no upgrade: the strip is always FULL width whatever setting you pick, and the setting never holds you back. Wider Cleaning multiplies on top of that.
Will Better Grip stop me from jumping at all?
No, only from clipping crests by accident. The extra pull starts when a wheel loses the ground, grows with the square of your speed up to a limit, and stops half a second after the last contact or once you're more than 1.5 m up, so a real launch still flies. With Low Gravity Jumps from Vehicle Stunts on as well, the two cancel each other out on small hops, so switch Better Grip off when you're after air time.
What options does Vehicle Speed & Width include?
Faster Vehicles
Vehicles reach Top Speed Percent of their normal top speed and pick up speed that much faster; the one you drive also brakes that much harder. Switching it off puts every vehicle back to its normal speed.
Wider Cleaning
Vehicles clean a strip Cleaning Width Percent as wide as normal. Off: the normal width.
Cleaning Width Percent
How wide the cleaned strip is with Wider Cleaning on: 100 is normal and 200 doubles it, so a lunar sweeper's 2.8 m strip becomes 5.6 m.
Full Suction
The intake always sweeps as wide as the FULL suction setting, even without the Suction Control upgrade, and suction never slows the vehicle down. Off: suction works as set on the vehicle.
Hopper Capacity Percent
How much a hopper holds with Bigger Hopper on: 100 is its normal size with your Big Hopper upgrades, 300 is three times that.
Top Speed Percent
How fast vehicles go with Faster Vehicles on: 100 is the normal top speed with your Tuned Motors upgrades, 200 is twice that.
Better Grip
The vehicle you drive gets twice the sideways grip and extra downforce when it starts to lift over a crest at speed, so it stays on the ground. Drifting still slides. Off: the game's normal grip.
Bigger Hopper
Vehicle hoppers hold Hopper Capacity Percent as much dust and empty into a garage silo that much faster. Off: each hopper goes back to its normal size once it holds no more than that, so dust above it stays until you unload.

System Requirements
What features does Vehicle Speed & Width include?
- Acceleration scales with the top speed, so a vehicle at 200% takes about as long to reach twice its usual top speed as it did before.
- The vehicle you drive also brakes and slows when coasting that much harder, which keeps stopping distances in proportion.
- Better Grip doubles the sideways grip whenever you aren't drifting and pulls the vehicle down when a wheel starts to leave the ground at speed, harder the faster you go.
- Tuned Motors, Turbo Kit boost and Cruise Control all work on top of the new speed.
- Bigger Hopper speeds up emptying into a garage silo by the same percentage, so a hopper three times the size takes no longer on the collector pad.
- Cleaning keeps up at any speed: the game checks each brush stroke against the vehicle's own top speed, so a faster vehicle still leaves an unbroken strip.
Best For
- The far side of the crater is a long haul in a lunar sweeper. Set Top Speed Percent to 300 and the drive takes about a third of the time.
- Your mega vacuum rover fills its tank twice for every crater you clear. Bigger Hopper at 500 lets it carry 15,000 kg before the trip back.
- Open plains with nothing in the way are made for long, straight passes. Put Cleaning Width Percent on 250 and the ride-on sweeper clears a 5 m strip each time.
- Rolling hills keep throwing your rover into the air, and it cleans nothing while its wheels are off the ground. Switch on Better Grip so the brushes stay on the dust.
