Nightmare of Decay hides everything. The key for that door is three rooms back behind something with teeth, and the one piece the puzzle wants has been sitting somewhere you already walked past twice. Quartermaster just hands it over. Hit Refresh List once after you load in and every item in the game shows up grouped by type - weapons, supplies, keys, key items, notes and documents - so the Cellar Key sits next to the Bloody Wardrobe Key instead of buried among everything else. Pick one, set How Many anywhere from 1 to 99, press Give Item. It arrives in your inventory like you found it on the floor, and you get told how many actually landed instead of a vague thumbs up. Good for a locked door that has stalled the run, for walking into a boss with a First Aid Kit and a Machete already in hand, or for setting up a Horde Mode or Randomizer attempt without scavenging first. Pairs with Full Pockets: that one tops up the ammo and stacks you already carry, this one gets you the things you do not have.

What does Quartermaster do in Nightmare of Decay?
Quartermaster gives you any item in Nightmare of Decay directly in your inventory. Press Refresh List once after you have loaded into the manor, open the Item dropdown, pick what you want, set How Many, and press Give Item. Everything the game has is in there: weapons like the Survival Knife and Machete, tools like the Crowbar and Bolt Cutter, healing such as First Aid Kits and Health Drinks, every door key, puzzle pieces, notes and documents. Instead of assuming it worked, Quartermaster counts your inventory before and after and reports how many actually landed.
What items can Quartermaster give you in Nightmare of Decay?
Quartermaster's list holds every item Nightmare of Decay ships with, grouped by type so related things sit together instead of scattered down one long alphabetical scroll. You get weapons, supplies, key items, keys, notes and documents as separate blocks. All the door keys - Cellar Key, Cabin Key, Clock Key and the rest - sit in one place, melee and firearms sit in another, and the puzzle pieces progression depends on, such as the Gold Crown, Gold Tablet and Dog Collar, are together under key items. Notes and documents are in there too, so you can read something you walked straight past without hiking back through the manor to find it.
Why is the Item dropdown empty when I first load into Nightmare of Decay?
The list is built from the run you are actually in, so at the main menu there is nothing to fill it with and the dropdown starts empty by design rather than because something broke. Load your save or start a run, then press Refresh List once. The dropdown fills with everything Nightmare of Decay has, grouped by type, and stays filled for the rest of that session. You only need to do it once per game launch, not once per item. If the list still looks empty after loading in and refreshing, press Diagnose - it writes a short report you can send us so we can work out what went wrong.
How many of an item can Quartermaster give at once, and how do I know it worked?
How Many takes any number from 1 to 99, so you can grab a single Cellar Key or ninety-nine rounds of ammunition in one press of Give Item. Quartermaster does not just say it succeeded and leave you guessing. It counts what is in your inventory before the hand-off and again after, then reports how many actually landed. If Nightmare of Decay refuses some of them - a full inventory, or an item the game only ever wants you to hold one of - you see the real number instead of a false all-clear. Ask for more than you need and check the reported count; the difference tells you where the game drew the line.
How is Quartermaster different from Full Pockets in Nightmare of Decay?
They solve two different problems in Nightmare of Decay. Full Pockets tops up what you are already carrying - the ammunition in your gun's caliber, the stacks sitting in your inventory - so it keeps an existing loadout full but cannot conjure something you have never picked up. Quartermaster is the opposite: it hands you items you do not have yet, whether that is the Cabin Key you cannot find, a Bolt Cutter for a chain you keep walking past, or a First Aid Kit before a fight in the manor. Run both and you are covered on either side: Quartermaster for getting the thing, Full Pockets for never running dry on the things you already own. Skeleton Key opens doors outright and Deep Mag keeps guns loaded if you want the whole set.
