</>Common questions about Full Kit (Learn Any Skill)
What does Full Kit do in Ori and the Will of the Wisps?
Full Kit is a ProjectMods mod for Ori and the Will of the Wisps that teaches Ori skills on demand. Choose a skill from the Skill dropdown and press Learn This Skill, or press Learn Every Skill to teach everything on the list at once. The list uses the game's own names and covers 22 entries: Ori's weapons and spells, the movement skills, and both Ancestral Lights. New skills are saved with your game exactly as if you'd found them in the world, so they're still there after you quit. It's a quick way to try a build or skip ahead to the abilities you want.
Which skills can Full Kit teach Ori?
Full Kit can teach 22 skills in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. The weapons and spells are Spirit Edge, Spirit Arc, Spirit Smash, Spirit Star, Spike, Light Burst, Sentry, Blaze, Flash, Regenerate and Launch. The movement skills are Double Jump, Dash, Bash, Grapple, Kuro's Feather, Flap, Burrow, Swim Dash and Water Breath. The list also includes both Ancestral Lights, the first and the second, which boost the damage of all of Ori's attacks. Story-only abilities aren't on the list, and the skill and weapon upgrades sold by Opher are separate, so Full Kit doesn't grant those.
Where do new skills go after Full Kit teaches them?
Weapons and spells join Ori's skill wheel in Ori and the Will of the Wisps the same way they do when you find them in the world, ready for you to assign. Movement skills such as Double Jump, Bash, Grapple and Kuro's Feather work straight away with no setup at all. If Ori already knows a skill, Full Kit simply skips it, so pressing Learn Every Skill on a late-game save only fills in the gaps. Every newly learned skill is saved with your game, so it's still there the next time you load that save.
Can Full Kit remove skills or give Opher's upgrades?
No to both. Full Kit only adds skills in Ori and the Will of the Wisps; it doesn't remove them, and skills it teaches stay on your save just like skills you found yourself. It also doesn't grant skill or weapon upgrades: those are still bought from Opher with Spirit Light as normal. That keeps the game's upgrade path intact, so you can have every skill early and still enjoy spending Spirit Light on making them stronger. If you want to keep a save untouched for a normal playthrough, use Full Kit on a separate save file.
Why use Full Kit in Ori and the Will of the Wisps?
Full Kit is for players who want the abilities without the scavenger hunt. Returning players can jump straight to a favorite build, and players practicing speedrun routes can test them with all 22 skills in hand. Stuck in Ori and the Will of the Wisps without Bash, Grapple or Burrow? Teach Ori the one you need and keep exploring. It also pairs neatly with other ProjectMods mods: Sky Stairs needs Double Jump before its endless jumps kick in, and Full Kit can teach it on the spot. Pick one skill for a small nudge, or press Learn Every Skill for a full sandbox.
