Faster Washing is the master toggle for Dish Pit Hero. Switched on, every dirty plate stacked at the Overcooked sink is scrubbed through at the boosted rate rather than the game's normal pace, so plates cycle back into circulation much sooner. Everything else about washing stays the same: a chef still has to walk to the sink and start scrubbing, plates still stack up when nobody deals with them, and clean plates still need carrying to the hatch. Only the scrub time changes. Switch Faster Washing off and the sink instantly goes back to its normal speed for the rest of the run.
Does Dish Pit Hero help when I am playing Overcooked solo?
Solo play is where Dish Pit Hero earns its keep. When you control both chefs yourself, every second one of them spends at the sink is a second nothing is chopping, cooking or plating, and the swap-and-scrub loop is what usually sinks a solo run in the later Overcooked kitchens. Speeding the sink up compresses that dead time enormously.
