Unless you have Creative Mode Lite installed. Then resources are infinite and your inventory is just a suggestion. Toggle this on and suddenly you can craft without consuming materials. Build massive structures, experiment with layouts, test designs - all without spending hours collecting driftwood. Your resources stay in your inventory no matter how much you craft. Perfect for creative building, testing base designs, or when you just want to enjoy the building aspect without the grind. The ocean still has sharks though. We didn't fix that part.

What does Unlimited Resources do in Raft?
It removes material costs from every craft action. Toggle Unlimited Resource Mode in the ProjectMods options panel and crafting consumes nothing — your inventory of planks, plastic, scrap, palm leaves, nails, and every other material stays full no matter how much you build. Useful for ambitious builds (massive floating cities), design experiments (try five layouts back-to-back without grinding mats), and creative content sessions where you don't want resource gathering interrupting the build flow. Toggle off and Raft's vanilla resource economy resumes immediately on the next craft.
Can I build massive structures in Raft with Unlimited Resources?
Yes — that's the main use case. Vanilla Raft caps your build ambition at how much driftwood you've fished out of the ocean, which limits creative scope. With Unlimited Resources on, you can build sprawling multi-storey rafts, themed mega-builds, recreations of real-world locations, or test layouts at full scale. Pair with Gravity Defying Builds from ProjectMods to also remove pillar requirements, and you've got near-total creative freedom for whatever absurd architecture you want. Pair with Turbo Tools for fast hammer cycles too.
Will Unlimited Resources break my Raft survival run?
It removes the survival pressure on materials specifically — sharks still attack, hunger and thirst still tick, story progression still works the same. So Raft remains a partial-survival game with creative-mode building grafted on top. Some players find this the perfect compromise (still tense moments, no build grind), others find it removes too much challenge. Toggle off any time you want vanilla resource gating back; the mod is fully reversible without save state damage. Useful for runs where you've already proven you can grind mats and just want to build for fun.
Does Unlimited Resources affect achievements in Raft?
It depends on the achievement. Building-volume achievements technically still trigger when you place enough foundations, but achievements explicitly tied to resource gathering (e.g., specific tier of survivor) won't progress as naturally if you're not actually consuming materials. Most Raft achievements aren't gated on materials, just on actions and milestones, so most pop normally. If you want specific resource-related achievements to count, do those legitimately and toggle Unlimited Resources off for that part of the run. The mod is per-toggle, so partial use is straightforward.
Does Unlimited Resources work in co-op multiplayer Raft?
Yes — host-side. Whoever runs the Raft session controls whether crafting consumes materials, and the change applies to every player on the raft. Other players don't need the mod installed; they just experience free crafting directly. Useful for co-op build projects where the whole group agrees the resource grind isn't part of what they enjoy, or for hosts running creative-mode sessions where teammates can build freely. Mods can behave differently across Raft patch states though, so test a short co-op session before relying on it for a long playthrough.
