</>What does Stack Size, Weight & Carry Capacity do?
Dragonwilds caps most materials at 99 per slot and lets you carry 400 before you slow down, so a mining trip ends when the bag does. Stack Size, Weight & Carry Capacity loosens all three limits. Stack Size Multiplier (1 to 100, default 1) multiplies how many of an item fit in one slot, in the backpack and in every chest: stacks of 99 become 990 at 10 and 9,900 at 100, nothing passes 9,999, and gear and tools stay one per slot. Item Weight Percent (0 to 100, default 100) sets how heavy every item is, down to weightless. Carry Capacity Multiplier (1 to 10, default 1) raises the 400 limit as far as 4,000. Each slot holds more, but the number of backpack and chest slots stays as the game made it, because the game saves items by their slot position. Put the sliders back to their defaults and every item gets its own stack size and weight again and your capacity returns to normal, while stacks that already grew past the usual size keep their count until you use them.
</>What is Stack Size, Weight & Carry Capacity?
This mod changes three inventory limits in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Stack Size Multiplier enlarges every stackable item's slot limit in backpacks and chests, Item Weight Percent scales the weight of everything you carry, and Carry Capacity Multiplier lifts the point where you become encumbered. Slot counts stay as the game made them, and the normal limits return as soon as the sliders do.
</>Common questions about Stack Size, Weight & Carry Capacity
What does Stack Size, Weight & Carry Capacity do in RuneScape: Dragonwilds?
It raises three inventory limits. More of each item fits in one backpack or chest slot, everything weighs less, and you can carry more before encumbrance kicks in. Each slider changes one limit and 1 or 100 leaves it exactly as the game set it.
Why does it not add backpack or chest slots?
Because it could cost you items. The game sizes the backpack once when your character spawns and saves every item by its slot number, with the item, rune, ammunition and quest pages laid out one after another. Adding slots would shift saved items between pages, and anything kept in an extra chest slot would have nowhere to go once the mod is off. Larger stacks give you the room without that risk.
What happens to big stacks when I turn the mod off?
They keep their count, but the game treats them as overfull. With the normal limit back, a stack of 900 logs counts against your free room for logs, so new logs may not fit until that stack shrinks. Before you turn the mod off for good, use up or split stacks above the usual size while it is still on, and nothing gets awkward.
Why does my carried weight not drop straight away?
The game recalculates your load only when your backpack or worn gear changes. After moving Item Weight Percent, pick something up, drop an item or move one between slots, and the new total and encumbrance follow. Carry Capacity Multiplier applies at once.
Does it change gear and tools?
Their weight, yes, but not how they stack. Weapons, armour and tools hold one per slot in the game and keep doing so, because each piece has its own durability. Arrows, bait, food, potions and materials are what Stack Size Multiplier scales, while runes already stack to 9,999, the cap.
Do bigger stacks and lighter items apply to friends in my world?
Yes, in a world you host. Your game handles every inventory there, so stack sizes and weights apply to everyone, while Carry Capacity Multiplier raises only your own limit. Friends who carry an oversized stack out of your world keep it in their own saved character. In someone else's world the host's game decides and the mod puts every value back, and in solo worlds it simply applies to you. Only use it with friends who agree.
What options does Stack Size, Weight & Carry Capacity include?
Carry Capacity Multiplier
Multiplies how much you can carry before you are encumbered: the usual 400 becomes 4,000 at 10. 1 is the game's own capacity.
Item Weight Percent
How heavy every item is, from 0 (weightless) to 100 (the game's own weight). Your carried weight updates the next time your backpack changes.
Stack Size Multiplier
Multiplies how many of an item fit in one slot, in your backpack and in chests. Stacks of 99 become 990 at 10 and 9,900 at 100, nothing goes past 9,999, and gear and tools stay one per slot. 1 is the game's own size.
Stack Size, Weight & Carry Capacity is a ProjectMods mod for RuneScape: Dragonwilds that multiplies item stack sizes up to 9,999 per slot, scales item weight down to nothing and raises your carry capacity up to ten times.
System Requirements
What features does Stack Size, Weight & Carry Capacity include?
- Stack Size Multiplier scales every stackable item: 99 becomes 990 at 10, meals and most potions go from 50 to 500, and nothing passes 9,999.
- Item Weight Percent lowers the weight of every item at once, from the game's own value at 100 to weightless at 0.
- Carry Capacity Multiplier lifts the 400 carrying limit as high as 4,000 before encumbrance slows you down.
- Original stack sizes and weights are kept and written back the moment a slider returns to normal or the mod is switched off.
Best For
- Your storage shed is a wall of chests full of half-empty ore stacks, so set Stack Size Multiplier to 10 and fit ten times as much in each one.
- A long mining trip keeps ending at the encumbrance limit, so set Carry Capacity Multiplier to 3 and Item Weight Percent to 50 before heading out.
- Building a big base means hauling stone back and forth, so drop Item Weight Percent to 0 for the haul and raise it again afterwards.
