</>What does Sticky Paws (Grip of Steel) do?
Grabbing is half of Super Bunny Man — ledges, ropes, crates, and your friends when you want to ruin their run. Sticky Paws makes sure your bunny never lets go before you tell it to. Grip fatigue stops draining, so a long hang off a rope or a slow shuffle along a ledge stays completely under control instead of ending with your paws giving out. It takes a lot of the frustration out of the climbing sections without doing the platforming for you. Switch it off and your grip goes back to being as unreliable as ever.
</>What is Sticky Paws (Grip of Steel)?
In Super Bunny Man you spend half the level hanging off something — a ledge, a rope, a crate, or a friend whose run you are trying to ruin. Sticky Paws keeps your bunny holding on until you decide to let go, so a long hang or a slow shuffle along a ledge stays under your control instead of ending with your paws giving out. </>Common questions about Sticky Paws (Grip of Steel)
What does Sticky Paws do in Super Bunny Man?
Sticky Paws stops your grip wearing out in Super Bunny Man. Normally your bunny's grip fatigues while it is hanging, so a long stretch on a rope or a slow shuffle along a ledge ends with your paws giving out at the worst possible moment. With this switched on that drain stops entirely, and you hold on until you decide to let go. Everything else about grabbing works exactly as it did — you still have to reach the thing and actually grab it, you just are not on a timer once you have.
Does Sticky Paws make the climbing sections trivial?
It takes the frustration out without doing the platforming for you. Super Bunny Man's climbing sections ask two things: get to the handhold, and stay on it long enough to get to the next one. Sticky Paws only removes the second problem. You still have to line up the grab, swing your ragdoll bunny in the right direction and let go at the right moment, which is where most of the actual difficulty lives. What disappears is the specific annoyance of doing all that correctly and then falling because your paws ran out of patience.
What can I actually grab in Super Bunny Man?
Rather a lot, which is why grip matters. Ledges and ropes are the obvious ones, but you can also grab crates and other props scattered around a level, and in couch co-op you can grab your friends — usually at the exact moment they were about to finish. Sticky Paws applies to all of it, so any hold you get is one you keep. That last case is the one people notice most: holding on to another bunny indefinitely is a genuinely powerful and deeply annoying thing to be able to do.
Is Sticky Paws the opposite of Sweaty Hands?
Effectively, yes. Sweaty Hands is one of Super Bunny Man's own brutal modifiers, and the Snap Happy mod switches it on so your grip tires out and long climbs become a race against your paws. Sticky Paws points the other way and removes grip fatigue altogether. Running both at the same time is contradictory, so pick a direction — Snap Happy if you want climbing to be a nervous scramble, Sticky Paws if you would rather the climb be about the route rather than about hanging on.
When does Sticky Paws matter most?
Any level built around ropes and ledges, and any time you are hunting a hidden golden carrot. Super Bunny Man tucks exactly one golden carrot away in each of its 50 story levels, and they are often in spots that need you to hang somewhere awkward while you work out the next move. Grip fatigue turns that thinking time into a countdown. With Sticky Paws on you can hang there, look around properly, and plan the route rather than rushing it and falling.
