Without the mod, a death in a hostile biome can easily cost a full real-life hour of repeat trekking; with it, retrieval becomes a 30-second detour. Does flight affect stamina, fall damage, or other Viking systems?
While Odin's Remote is on, flight itself costs no stamina in Valheim — your stamina bar behaves exactly as if you were standing still. You also can't take fall damage while flying, since gravity isn't being applied. Combat damage, monster aggro, food buffs, the Rested bonus, weather effects, and all skill XP gains continue working as normal — the mod only changes movement physics, not the rest of the simulation. The moment you toggle Odin's Remote off, full physics return: if you switch it off mid-air at 100 meters up, you will fall normally and take damage on landing, so be on the ground (or close to it) before disabling unless you're paired with Viking Toolbox in god mode.
