What does Fast Learner do in Wanderburg?
Fast Learner speeds up leveling in Wanderburg in two ways. XP Boost adds the XP Bonus % you choose on top of the normal value of every gold pickup, so each coin your castle eats pushes the level bar further: 100 doubles your leveling speed, 500 makes the bar fly. Level Up Now is the instant option, granting one level immediately and opening the upgrade pick screen so you can choose a module upgrade right then. Both work alongside any XP artifacts you have already collected. Switch XP Boost off and pickups return to their normal worth, while any levels you have already gained stay yours.
How does XP Boost stack with XP artifacts?
XP Boost in Fast Learner adds to the same experience bonus that Wanderburg's XP artifacts add to, so the two stack rather than replacing each other. If your run has already gathered a couple of artifacts that increase experience gained, the mod's XP Bonus % goes on top of that total, and every coin pickup is worth the combined amount. That is why the effect can feel stronger late in a run than early: the more experience bonuses you have earned, the bigger the number the mod is adding to. It only affects experience from pickups; it does not change how much silver a run pays out.
Does Level Up Now work from the pause menu?
No. Level Up Now needs an active Wanderburg run with no menu open, because it opens the game's own upgrade pick screen the moment it grants the level. If you press it while the pause menu, an artifact choice or a trading screen is showing, nothing happens; close the screen so the fight is running again and press it once more. Each press grants exactly one level, and you still choose your upgrade from the same options the game would normally offer. Fast Learner does not pick for you, and while the pick screen is open extra presses do nothing, so choose your upgrade, then press again for the next level.
How high can I set XP Bonus %?
XP Bonus % goes from 0 up to 1000 in steps of 10, and Fast Learner applies whatever you set to every coin pickup in Wanderburg while XP Boost is on. 50 is a gentle lift that keeps runs feeling normal, 100 doubles your leveling speed, 200 to 300 lets you reach a full late-run build before the first boss, and 500 or more turns a single village into several levels. Remember that new modules arrive on set level milestones, so very high values mean your module picks arrive back to back. You can change the number mid-run and the next pickup uses it.
