</>What does Quartermaster (Upgrades On Demand) do?
Everything that makes a Wanderburg build - new modules, artifacts, vehicle tiers, legendary module upgrades - arrives on the game's schedule. Quartermaster puts each of those pick screens on a button. New Module opens a fresh module choice. New Artifact and Rare Artifact hand you an artifact pick, ordinary or rare. Vehicle Upgrade opens the next tier of your castle, and Legendary Upgrade lets you push one of your modules to its special or legendary form. Each press opens the same selection screen the game normally shows, so you still choose - you just do not wait. Build the run you have been theorycrafting before the first village, or stack rare artifacts until the boss regrets showing up.

</>Common questions about Quartermaster (Upgrades On Demand)
What does Quartermaster do in Wanderburg?
Quartermaster puts every one of Wanderburg's upgrade pick screens on a button. New Module opens a fresh module choice, New Artifact and Rare Artifact open an artifact pick from the ordinary or the rare pool, Vehicle Upgrade opens the choice for the next tier of your castle, and Legendary Upgrade opens a special or legendary form for one of your modules. Each press shows the same selection screen the game would show on its own schedule, so you still see a set of options and make the choice yourself. The mod does not pick for you and it does not skip the screen; it only removes the wait.
What is the difference between New Artifact and Rare Artifact?
The pool the options are drawn from. New Artifact in Quartermaster opens a normal Wanderburg artifact pick, the kind the run hands you on its own schedule, with rarity rolled against your run's luck. Rare Artifact opens a pick drawn from the rare pool instead, so the options on screen are the good stuff from the start rather than a hopeful roll. Both show the game's own artifact selection screen and both let you choose. If you want the normal pick to lean rare as well, Lucky Charm raises your luck; if you simply want rare choices now, Rare Artifact is the faster route.
Why does nothing happen when I press a Quartermaster button?
Almost always because a menu is open. Every Quartermaster action needs an active Wanderburg run with nothing else on screen, since each one opens a pick screen and the game cannot stack one over the pause menu, a trade, or another selection. Close whatever is showing so the fight is running again, then press the button once more and the pick appears. The same applies between runs: the buttons do nothing on the main menu or in the garage, because there is no run to add a module or artifact to.
What do Vehicle Upgrade and Legendary Upgrade open?
Vehicle Upgrade in Quartermaster opens the choice for the next tier of your Wanderburg castle, the same screen you normally see when the run decides you have grown enough, so you can move up to a bigger vehicle with more room for modules on your own timing. Legendary Upgrade opens a special or legendary upgrade for one of your mounted modules, the rare form that pushes a module past its ordinary upgrade path. Both are one press each and both show the game's own screen, so you still pick which vehicle or which module benefits. Neither skips a tier or forces a choice you did not make.
Why would I use Quartermaster in Wanderburg?
Because Wanderburg makes you wait for the build you are imagining, and Quartermaster does not. Theorycrafters use it to assemble a specific combination of modules and artifacts before the first village so they can test it against a real wave. Players who keep dying before a build comes online use it to reach the fun part sooner. Content creators use it to show off legendary module forms without an hour of setup. It pairs naturally with Fast Learner for levels on demand and Lucky Charm for rarer results, and since you still choose from the game's own screens, the run keeps feeling like a run.
