</>What does Cannon Arm (Mega Throw & Kick) do?
Big Walk hands you a world full of loose objects and a perfectly reasonable throwing arm. This removes the reasonable part. Cannon Arm scales how hard you launch things, with separate controls for throwing and kicking so you can tune each to taste. Wind it up a little for satisfying long lobs, or wind it all the way and put a chair over the horizon. Kicking gets its own slider because kicking is its own art form, and because sending something skywards with your foot while your friend is still explaining the puzzle is one of the great co-op joys. Only your own launches change. Turn it off and everything goes back to sensible distances - though the things you already threw are, unfortunately, still wherever they landed.
</>What is Cannon Arm (Mega Throw & Kick)?
Cannon Arm turns every loose object on Big Walk's island into a projectile. Separate sliders control throwing and kicking, so you can keep a gentle lob while punting a chair over the horizon. Only your own launches change, and normal strength comes straight back when you switch it off. From ProjectMods, the community-first PC mod manager for 400+ games.
</>Common questions about Cannon Arm (Mega Throw & Kick)
What does Cannon Arm do in Big Walk?
Cannon Arm multiplies how hard you launch objects in Big Walk, so anything you can pick up becomes something you can send a very long way. Throwing and kicking have their own separate percentage sliders, letting you keep a gentle underhand toss while your punt sends a chair over the horizon. Both the underhand and overhand throws scale together, so the arm behaves consistently whichever one you use. At modest settings you get satisfying long lobs; at the top of the range objects clear the valley. Only your own launches change, so everyone else in the session throws normally.
Why are throwing and kicking on separate sliders?
Because they are two different jobs. In Big Walk, throwing is how you hand things around and solve puzzles, while kicking is mostly for comedy — so Cannon Arm gives each its own percentage control. A common setup is leaving Throw Multiplier near normal, so you can still pass an object to a friend without firing it into a lake, while pushing Kick Multiplier right up for sending things skyward with your foot. You can also run both at maximum if you want everything you touch to leave the county. The two values are independent and can be adjusted at any point while you play.
Does Cannon Arm affect what my friends throw in a Big Walk session?
No — Cannon Arm only changes your own launches. Your friends keep Big Walk's normal throwing and kicking strength, so a shared session stays perfectly playable and nobody has to install anything to match you. The one thing worth knowing is that objects you have already launched stay wherever they landed. Turning the mod off restores your normal arm, but it does not go and fetch the chair you put on the far side of the valley ten minutes ago. If an object matters to a puzzle, it is worth aiming somewhere sensible before you wind the multipliers up.
How high can I set the Throw Multiplier?
Throw Multiplier is a percentage of Big Walk's normal throwing strength, where 100 is stock. Around 400 will send an object clean across a field, and 2000 puts it over the valley and out of sight. The scale is deliberately wide because the fun sits at both ends: low numbers give you a slightly stronger, still-believable arm that makes passing things around easier, and high numbers turn the island into a driving range. Kick Multiplier uses the same percentage scale for your foot. Both can be nudged mid-walk, so you can find the setting you like without restarting anything.
Why would I use Cannon Arm on a walk with friends?
Mostly because Big Walk is a game about wandering and talking, and a chair leaving the atmosphere mid-conversation is very funny. Practically, a stronger arm also saves walking: you can send an object down a hill to where you are heading instead of carrying it, or lob something across a stream rather than finding a crossing. It pairs well with Ghost Rambler if you want to follow whatever you just launched, and with Eagle Eye so you can actually watch it land. Wind the sliders back to 100 or flip the master switch off whenever you want a sensible throwing arm again.

Throw Multiplier
How hard you throw, as a percentage of normal. 100 is stock, 400 clears a field, 2000 clears the valley.

System Requirements
What features does Cannon Arm (Mega Throw & Kick) include?
- Scales your throw on a percentage slider - 100 is stock, 400 clears a field, 2000 clears the valley.
- Keeps kicking on its own separate slider, so you can pair a polite little lob with a devastating punt.
- Covers the underhand and the overhand throw together, so it behaves the same whichever one you reach for.
- Changes only your own launches, so it is fine to leave running while the three of you are out walking.
- Hands your sensible throwing arm back on switch-off - though whatever you already threw stays exactly where it landed.
Best For
- Groups who turned 'how far can you throw that' into the actual game and now want a much bigger field to play on.
- Punting a friend's carefully positioned puzzle object over the treeline while they are still explaining the puzzle.
- Creators who need an object to arc all the way across a wide shot instead of plopping down two metres away.
- Finding the exact slider number that sits between 'satisfying long lob' and 'that item is gone forever'.
- Anyone who would rather send something across the island than carry it there like a responsible adult.
