</>What does Deep Pockets (Carry More Items) do?
A big pile on the bunker floor can mean trip after trip to the shelves. Deep Pockets hands you the number. Switch on Bigger Hands Enabled, set Hand Capacity anywhere from 1 to 500 (it starts at 50), and you can carry that many items at once for as long as the switch is on. If your bought Grabby Hands levels already give you more, you keep the bigger size, so the mod can never make you weaker. Always Stack Same Items gives you the Compaction behaviour without spending Points on it: identical items gather into one stack in your hands, and switching jumps between stacks, so even a huge armful stays quick to cycle through. The two switches work independently, and turning either one off returns your carry size or stacking to whatever your bought upgrades give you.
</>What is Deep Pockets (Carry More Items)?
Deep Pockets is a ProjectMods mod for Bunker Tidy Up that cuts your trips to the shelves. Turn on Bigger Hands Enabled, pick a Hand Capacity from 1 to 500, and carry up to that many items per trip, never fewer than Grabby Hands allows. Always Stack Same Items adds Compaction-style stacking without spending Points, so identical items share one stack in your hands. Switch either option off and your bought upgrades take over again.
</>Common questions about Deep Pockets (Carry More Items)
What does Deep Pockets do in Bunker Tidy Up?
Deep Pockets changes how much you can carry while tidying the bunker. Normally, how many items fit in your hands depends on the Grabby Hands levels you've bought in the Shop. With Bigger Hands Enabled switched on, Hand Capacity sets that number instead - anywhere from 1 to 500, with 50 as the starting value - and it never goes below what your Grabby Hands levels already give you, so the mod can't make you weaker. The third option, Always Stack Same Items, gives you Compaction's behaviour without buying it: identical items in your hands gather into a single stack, and switching between items jumps from stack to stack. The two switches work independently of each other, and turning either off hands control back to whatever your bought upgrades provide. It's a single-player ProjectMods mod you switch on from the launcher.
How do Bigger Hands Enabled and Hand Capacity work together?
Bigger Hands Enabled is the on/off switch and Hand Capacity is the number it uses. While the switch is on, Hand Capacity decides how many items you can carry at once - any value from 1 to 500. It's your whole carry limit rather than a bonus added on top of Grabby Hands, but it can never make you weaker: if your bought Grabby Hands levels already give you more than the number you've picked, you simply keep their size. The default of 50 gives you a generous armful that still feels like tidying, and setting it to 500 lets you scoop up an enormous pile in one go. Switch Bigger Hands Enabled off and your limit goes back to what your Grabby Hands level allows; Hand Capacity only applies while the switch is on.
What happens if I lower Hand Capacity while I'm carrying more than the new limit?
Nothing falls out of your hands. If you lower Hand Capacity below the number of items you're holding, Deep Pockets lets you keep everything you've got - you just can't pick up anything else until you're back under the new limit. Put items on their shelves as usual, or use Drop, and once you're holding fewer than the new limit you can start collecting again. That makes it safe to experiment mid-tidy: try 200, decide it's more than you can comfortably juggle, set it back to 50 and carry on without losing the load you're carrying. And however low you set it, your limit never drops below what your Grabby Hands levels already give you, so a small number can't leave you worse off than the game normally would.
Do I need to buy Compaction to use Always Stack Same Items?
No - skipping that purchase is the whole idea. Always Stack Same Items gives you the Compaction behaviour without spending any Points in the Shop. While it's on, identical items in your hands gather into a single stack, and switching with Previous Item and Next Item jumps from one stack to the next. It's especially handy alongside a high Hand Capacity, since cycling through dozens of loose items one by one gets old fast, but it doesn't need Bigger Hands Enabled to work - you can use it with your normal carry size too. If you've already bought Compaction, nothing is lost: turning Always Stack Same Items off leaves you with the stacking your purchased upgrade already gives you.
Does Deep Pockets change my Grabby Hands or Compaction upgrades, and what happens when I turn it off?
Your upgrades are never touched. Deep Pockets doesn't buy, remove or alter any Grabby Hands or Compaction levels - it only changes your carry size and stacking while its switches are on. Turn off Bigger Hands Enabled and your carry limit returns to whatever your Grabby Hands level gives you; turn off Always Stack Same Items and stacking goes back to whatever your Compaction purchase provides, or none if you haven't bought it yet. Disabling the whole mod in the ProjectMods launcher switches both effects off cleanly in one go. Deep Pockets doesn't spend Points or change anything you've bought, so your balance and your Shop purchases are exactly as you left them, whether it's on or off.
What options does Deep Pockets (Carry More Items) include?

Bigger Hands Enabled
Master switch for your custom carry size. Turn it off to go back to whatever your Grabby Hands level gives you.

Identical items gather into one stack in your hands and switching jumps between stacks, just like Compaction, without having to buy it.

System Requirements
What features does Deep Pockets (Carry More Items) include?
- Set Hand Capacity anywhere from 1 to 500 — it starts at 50 — and carry up to that many items at once while Bigger Hands Enabled is on.
- It can never make you weaker: if your bought Grabby Hands levels already beat your Hand Capacity, you keep their bigger size.
- Always Stack Same Items gathers identical items into one stack in your hands, just like Compaction, without spending a Point on it.
- Lowering Hand Capacity mid-trip never costs you your load — you keep what you're holding and just can't pick up more.
- Turn either switch off and your carry size and stacking go straight back to what your Grabby Hands and Compaction levels give you.
Best For
- One corner of the bunker is buried under dozens of the same item — switch on Bigger Hands Enabled, keep Hand Capacity at its default 50 and carry the pile to its shelves in a fraction of the trips.
- You're holding a big mixed armful and keep pressing Next Item past copy after copy of the same thing — turn on Always Stack Same Items so identical items share one stack and each press lands on something new.
- You'd rather spend your Points on Magnet and Right Shelf than on Compaction — let Always Stack Same Items handle the stacking and put that budget toward abilities instead.
- You only want a gentle helping hand — pick a modest Hand Capacity and leave everything else about the game exactly as it is, knowing it can never drop you below what your Grabby Hands levels already give you.
- Magnet stops pulling once your hands are full — raise Hand Capacity so every pull has room to land, and pair it with Instant Recharge's Stronger Magnet for even bigger hauls.
