</>What does Bottle Radar (Find & Recover) do?
The end of a cellar is a hunt. The counter says nine bottles left, and they could be anywhere: rolled into a corner, tucked behind something, or sitting on the wrong rack where you'll walk past them ten times. Bottle Radar points at them. Show Bottles Like Mine outlines the bottles of the wine on top of your stack that still need their spot, on the floor or on the wrong rack. Show Wrong Shelf Bottles outlines anything on a rack that isn't in its exact slot. For bottles that are properly stuck, Bring Stuck Bottles Back lifts every loose bottle in the cellar and sets it down at the drop spots, once 300 or fewer are left loose. Switch the outlines off and every one the radar added goes with them.
</>What is Bottle Radar (Find & Recover)?
The hardest bottles in Cellar Keeper are the last few. Bottle Radar finds them: Show Bottles Like Mine outlines the nearest bottles of the wine you're holding that still need a spot, Show Wrong Shelf Bottles marks anything in the wrong slot on a rack, and Bring Stuck Bottles Back drops loose bottles at the drop spots once 300 or fewer remain. Speedrun and Hardcore runs that use it are kept off the online leaderboards.
</>Common questions about Bottle Radar (Find & Recover)
What does Bottle Radar do in Cellar Keeper?
It helps you find what's left. Late in a cellar, the bottles you still need are the ones you can't see, so Bottle Radar outlines them: more of the wine you're carrying, or the ones sitting where they don't belong. If a bottle is truly stuck, it can bring it back where you can reach it.
Does Show Bottles Like Mine match by grape or by wine?
By wine. It reads the top bottle in your stack and outlines other bottles with that exact label that aren't in their own spot yet, loose or on the wrong rack. Bottles of the same grape with a different label stay dark; Sommelier's Sort's Spot Every Grape Match is the one that goes by grape. With empty hands there's nothing to match, so only Show Wrong Shelf Bottles has anything to show.
Why isn't every matching bottle outlined?
There's a cap of 150 outlines, shared between both switches, and it always goes to the bottles nearest you. In a busy part of the cellar you'll see the closest 150; shelve some and the next ones light up as you go.
Why won't Bring Stuck Bottles Back run yet?
Because more than 300 bottles are still loose. It can't tell a stuck bottle from one you just haven't picked up, so it moves every loose bottle in the cellar, and doing that early would scatter the piles you're working through. At 300 or fewer it runs, using the same drop spots as the pause menu's Recover button. The game only switches that button on once six or fewer bottles are left unplaced; this one works long before that.
Does the radar count against a Speedrun or Hardcore run?
Yes. Having either outline switch on during one of those runs marks it, even when nothing is outlined at that moment, and so does pressing Bring Stuck Bottles Back. A marked run's finish time is kept off the online leaderboard. The mark survives quitting and reloading, and clears when you start a fresh run with both switches off.
What options does Bottle Radar (Find & Recover) include?
Show Wrong Shelf Bottles
Outlines bottles sitting in the wrong place on a rack.
Bring Stuck Bottles Back
Sets loose bottles down again at the cellar's drop spots. Works once 300 or fewer are left.
Show Bottles Like Mine
Outlines the nearest bottles (up to 150) of the wine on top of your stack that still need their spot.
Bottle Radar is a ProjectMods mod for Cellar Keeper that outlines the bottles you're still looking for and can bring stuck loose bottles back to the cellar's drop spots.
System Requirements
What features does Bottle Radar (Find & Recover) include?
- It uses the same outline the game's skills put on bottles, so you already know what to look for.
- Change which wine is on top of your stack, by picking up another or cycling through what you hold, and the outlines move to it within a second.
- Show Wrong Shelf Bottles also catches the right wine in the wrong numbered slot, which is why a rack can look full and still not count.
- Bring Stuck Bottles Back spreads the bottles across the drop spots instead of dumping them all in one heap.
Best For
- You've picked up one bottle of a wine and have no idea where the rest went. Switch on Show Bottles Like Mine and follow the outlines.
- A rack looks full, but the racks counter on your HUD won't go up. Switch on Show Wrong Shelf Bottles and look for the bottle that lights up.
- You're down to the last eleven and you've checked every corner twice. Press Bring Stuck Bottles Back and pick them up at the drop spots.
- There are still too many loose bottles for Bring Stuck Bottles Back, but one outlined bottle is wedged behind a rack. Ghost Steward's Fly Through Walls gets you in there.
