You press Blue Ribbon's buttons in the ProjectMods app, and the result shows up as a small notification inside the game once the game window is back in front. To skip the window switch, give Earn This Achievement or Earn Every Achievement a key in the ProjectMods app.
What happens if Steam turns down an achievement from Blue Ribbon?
Blue Ribbon tells you, and you can simply try again. When you press Earn Every Achievement in the ProjectMods app, Blue Ribbon awards all 32 Dressmaker achievements at once, and the notification says how many were new. If Steam turns any of them down, the message says how many, and pressing Earn Every Achievement again retries them. Earn This Achievement works the same way for a single pick: its notification says the achievement was earned, that you already had it, or that Steam didn't accept it, in which case give it a moment and press again. Keep Steam running while you use Blue Ribbon, because every answer you see comes from Steam itself.
Can I remove an achievement after Blue Ribbon earns it?
No. Blue Ribbon only adds achievements, and there's no button to take one back off your Steam profile. Once Earn This Achievement or Earn Every Achievement has done its job, those Dressmaker achievements stay earned. If you want to leave some to earn yourself, such as Prudence and Prejudice for Prudence's major commissions or Sew Long for the ruffle skirt, pick single achievements from the Achievement list instead of pressing Earn Every Achievement.
