</>What does Storm Season do?
Laying out a body is the easy part. Then you wait. The storm only rolls around once a week, so a perfectly good corpse sits on the table doing nothing while you go off and weed the garden beds. Storm Season ends the waiting. Prepare a body at the resurrection table exactly the way you always do, then press Resurrect Now and every table that is ready gets going straight away. It tells you how many actually got going, and if nothing was ready it says so plainly instead of pretending it worked. Two switches come with it. Keep The Lab Powered means the resurrection lab is never sitting flat on the one day you need it. Ignore Overcrowding clears the penalty that lands when you hold more workers than your resurrection area is rated for, so you can pack the place out and still get a full shift from everybody. Switch that one back off and the game's own crowding rule comes straight back, penalty included if you have genuinely overdone it. You still do the work: find the body and prepare it at the resurrection table yourself. Storm Season only removes the bit where you stand outside watching the sky. Needs a save loaded. At the main menu the button politely tells you so rather than doing nothing.

</>Common questions about Storm Season
What does Storm Season do in Graveyard Keeper 2?
Storm Season lets you raise your zombie workers whenever you want instead of waiting on the weekly storm, which is normally the only time a resurrection happens in Graveyard Keeper 2. Prepare a body at the resurrection table exactly the way you always do, then press Resurrect Now and every table that is ready gets going straight away. It tells you how many actually got going, and if nothing was prepared it says so plainly rather than pretending it worked. Two extra switches come with it, one for the lab's charge and one for the overcrowding penalty.
What does Resurrect Now actually do?
Resurrect Now wakes every body you have already prepared at a resurrection table in Graveyard Keeper 2, right then, without waiting on the storm. It reports the real number that got going rather than a cheerful message, so you know whether all of them took or only some. If nothing was prepared it tells you that plainly instead of leaving you guessing whether the press worked. Storm Season needs a loaded save to have anything to work on, and at the main menu it politely says so rather than doing nothing at all.
Do I still have to prepare the body first?
Yes, and that is the whole shape of it. Storm Season removes the waiting, not the work. You still find the body and prepare it at the resurrection table in Graveyard Keeper 2 exactly as before, and nothing here conjures a body for you or skips the preparation. What disappears is the part where a perfectly good corpse sits on the table doing nothing while you go off and weed the garden beds for the rest of the week. Press Resurrect Now when you are ready and the crew gets up the same afternoon, on your schedule rather than the weather's.
What do Keep The Lab Powered and Ignore Overcrowding do?
Keep The Lab Powered keeps the resurrection lab charged so it is never sitting flat on the one day you actually need it in Graveyard Keeper 2. Switch it off and the lab charges on its own again. Ignore Overcrowding clears the penalty that lands when you hold more zombie workers than your resurrection area is rated for, so you can pack the place out and still get a full shift from everybody. Switch that off and Storm Season hands the game's own crowding rule straight back, penalty included if you have genuinely overdone it.
Why does nothing happen at the main menu?
Because Storm Season needs a loaded Graveyard Keeper 2 save before there are any tables or bodies to work with. Rather than failing silently, the Resurrect Now button tells you so plainly, which is the same approach it takes when nothing has been prepared. Load into your game first and everything becomes available. Once you are in, it pairs naturally with Union Rules, the premium mod in the ProjectMods catalogue that raises your crew's work speed, skill and walking pace, so the workers you just raised are also worth having.
What options does Storm Season include?
Keep The Lab Powered
Keeps the resurrection lab charged so it is never sitting flat when you want to wake somebody. Switch it off and the lab charges on its own again.
Resurrect Now
Wakes every body you have already prepared at a resurrection table, right now, without waiting for the storm. It reports how many actually rose, and says so plainly when nothing was prepared. Needs a save loaded.
Enabled
Master switch. Turn it off and resurrection goes back to the game's own weekly schedule.
Ignore Overcrowding
Clears the crowding penalty that lands when you hold more zombie workers than your resurrection area is rated for. Switch it off and the normal crowding rules come straight back, penalty included if you have genuinely overdone it.
Storm Season is a premium Graveyard Keeper 2 mod on ProjectMods that raises your zombie workers whenever you like, instead of leaving prepared bodies waiting for the once-a-week storm.
