</>What does Game Speed & Day Clock do?
A day in Dragonwilds lasts 24 real minutes, and night runs from 22:00 to 04:30. Sometimes you want more daylight for building, sometimes you want the crafting queue to finish while you grab a drink. Game Speed & Day Clock puts the world's clock in your hands. Game Speed Percent runs everything faster or slower, from 25 to 500 (100 is normal): the clock, stations, enemies and you. Freeze Time of Day stops the sun where it is. Pick an hour with Time of Day (0 is midnight, 12 is noon, default 12) and press Set Time of Day to move the clock ahead to it. Skip Night jumps from darkness straight to the 04:30 dawn without needing a bed. The clock only ever moves forward, and crafting stations, campfire cooking and composters catch up on the hours you skip. Turning Game Speed Percent back to 100 or switching Freeze Time of Day off returns the world to its normal pace, and the time you set stays set. In a friend's world their game keeps the clock, so the mod leaves it alone.
</>What is Game Speed & Day Clock?
Game Speed & Day Clock works on the host's side of RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Game Speed Percent sets the world's own time scale between 25 and 500. Freeze Time of Day uses the pause switch built into the day clock, Set Time of Day and Skip Night move that clock forward through the game's own time setting, and your world settings are never touched. A day still lasts 24 real minutes at normal speed.
</>Common questions about Game Speed & Day Clock
What does Game Speed & Day Clock do in RuneScape: Dragonwilds?
It changes how fast the whole world runs and gives you control of the day clock: freeze it, move it to an hour you pick, or end the night at dawn. It works in solo worlds and in worlds you host.
Does Game Speed Percent speed up everything or only the day?
Everything in the world. The setting changes the world's own time scale, so the day clock, crafting stations, crops, enemies, projectiles and your own movement all run at the new pace together. At 200 a day takes 12 real minutes instead of 24. The two sides combine freely: with Freeze Time of Day on, a fast world keeps its noon while a furnace queue still races ahead, though crops wait, because they only grow when the clock passes 04:30. Very high speeds make fights hard to react to and can stutter on slower PCs, so try 150 or 200 before going all the way to 500.
Why can't Set Time of Day move the clock backwards?
Because the game treats every clock change as time passing. When the clock jumps ahead, crafting stations, campfire cooking and composters catch up on the hours in between, and going back would leave them ahead of the clock, so the mod only ever moves it forward. Picking an hour that has already passed today takes you to that hour tomorrow, up to a full day ahead.
Can I use it when I play with friends?
In a world you host, yes, and your friends share the change: everyone runs at your Game Speed Percent and sees your clock. In a friend's world their game owns the clock and the speed, so the buttons reply that only the host can do that and the sliders do nothing. Jagex permits mods for single-player play, so in a hosted world only use it with friends who agree.
What stays changed after I switch it off?
The time you set or skipped to stays, since the clock simply carries on from there and your world saves it as usual. The speed goes back to normal as soon as Game Speed Percent returns to 100 or the mod is switched off, and a frozen clock starts moving again. Freezing is never saved, so loading the world without the mod always starts with a running clock.
What options does Game Speed & Day Clock include?

System Requirements
What features does Game Speed & Day Clock include?
- Game Speed Percent scales the whole world from 25 to 500 in steps of 5, so at 500 a full day passes in under 5 real minutes and at 25 it stretches to 96.
- Freeze Time of Day holds the sun and moon still using the clock's own pause switch, which the game never writes into your save.
- Set Time of Day moves the clock ahead to the hour chosen on the Time of Day slider, never backwards, and tells you the new time.
- Skip Night only works between dusk at 22:00 and dawn, and lands you exactly on the 04:30 sunrise.
Best For
- You are halfway through a big build when darkness falls at 22:00, so turn on Freeze Time of Day at noon and keep working in daylight for as long as the build takes.
- A long smelting queue is ticking away in your furnace, so raise Game Speed Percent to 300 while you sort your chests and the bars come out three times sooner.
- Night has caught you far from a bed, so press Skip Night and the sun comes up at 04:30 without the walk home.
- A boss fight keeps going wrong, so drop Game Speed Percent to 50 and learn its attacks in slow motion before trying at full speed.
