</>What does Ceasefire (Wave & Boss Control) do?
A Wanderburg run marches to a clock: waves escalate with it, the boss arrives on it, Overtime starts when it runs out. Ceasefire puts that clock in your hands. No New Waves tells every spawner to stand down, so you can eat villages and grow in peace. Freeze the Clock holds the run timer where it is, which stops the waves escalating, keeps the boss from arriving and postpones Overtime for as long as you like. When you are ready, Summon Boss brings the biome boss out immediately, Banish Boss removes it if the fight is not going your way, and Skip to Overtime jumps to the silver-rich endgame phase. Perfect for building the exact castle you want before the real fight, or for a boss rush without the wait.
</>What is Ceasefire (Wave & Boss Control)?
A Wanderburg run marches to a clock: waves escalate, the boss arrives, Overtime begins. Ceasefire lets you stand every spawner down, hold the timer still, call the biome boss early, remove it if the fight goes wrong, or jump straight to the silver-rich Overtime phase. Part of the ProjectMods catalog, the community-first PC mod manager for 400+ games across Unity, Unreal, and Godot.
</>Common questions about Ceasefire (Wave & Boss Control)
What does Ceasefire do in Wanderburg?
Ceasefire gives you control over the pacing of a Wanderburg run. Two toggles handle the pressure: No New Waves tells every enemy spawner to stand down so nothing new arrives, and Freeze the Clock holds the run timer still so waves stop escalating, the boss does not show up and Overtime is postponed. Three buttons handle the big events: Summon Boss brings the biome boss out immediately, Banish Boss removes the current boss from the field, and Skip to Overtime jumps the clock straight to the endgame phase. Use them together to build in peace, then start the fight you want at the moment you want it.
What is the difference between No New Waves and Freeze the Clock?
No New Waves stops enemies from appearing; Freeze the Clock stops time from moving. With No New Waves on, every spawner in Wanderburg stands down, but the run timer keeps ticking, so the boss still arrives on schedule and Overtime still starts when the clock runs out. With Freeze the Clock on, the run timer and every wave countdown hold right where they were the moment you switched it on, so waves stop escalating, the boss waits and Overtime is pushed back, but enemies that were already due can still turn up. Ceasefire lets you run both at once for total quiet, or just one when you want part of the pressure kept.
Do enemies already on the field disappear when I turn on No New Waves?
No. No New Waves in Ceasefire only stops new enemies from spawning in Wanderburg; anything already on the field stays exactly where it is and keeps fighting. That is deliberate, because it lets you finish the current wave on your own terms rather than having it vanish along with its drops and rewards. If you want the field cleared instantly, that is a job for Scorched Earth's Wipe Enemies button, which deals a killing blow to every regular enemy on the field. Banish Boss is the one removal Ceasefire does include: it takes the current biome boss off the field, which is useful when a fight is not going your way.
What do Summon Boss, Banish Boss and Skip to Overtime do?
They are Ceasefire's three one-press event buttons for Wanderburg. Summon Boss brings the current biome's boss out right now instead of waiting for the run timer, which is perfect for a boss rush or for testing a build against the thing that usually kills it. Banish Boss removes the boss currently on the field, handy when you summoned it too early or just want the run back. Skip to Overtime jumps the run clock straight to the Overtime phase, where silver payouts are richest. Each button needs an active run with no menu open; press it from the pause screen or a pick screen and it is simply ignored, so close the menu and press it again once you are back in the fight.
Why would I use Ceasefire in Wanderburg?
The most common reason is building the exact Wanderburg castle you want before the real fight. Switch on No New Waves and Freeze the Clock, roll around eating villages and flocks in peace, level up, pick your modules and artifacts, then switch them off or press Summon Boss when you are ready. The second reason is boss practice: Ceasefire lets you summon a biome boss immediately, learn its patterns, banish it if things go wrong and try again without replaying twenty minutes of waves. The third is silver farming, since Skip to Overtime takes you straight to the endgame phase where the payouts are highest.
